Fated engram and other terrible season pass rewards
The season pass rewards are a joke, plain and simple. The season pass rewards were actually useful at the beginning mainly because of the destination resource packs and the upgrade modules. The further you go on, though the worse they start to get. 100 bright dust for a reward in the 90's is honestly a little insulting. The one reward I was really looking forward to was the fated engram. Why? Because the only non quest related weapon I've yet to get is the monte carlo and I have all exotic armor pieces unlocked for my warlock, which the fated engram was both earned and opened on. So that should be a guaranteed monte carlo, right? Nope, I got the prospector. So the rank 98 reward is no different from the Isochronal engram I can buy weekly from Xur. At least for the ones from Xur, it makes sense but I figured the rank 98 one from the season pass would work as a fated engram is actually supposed to. Also, vex mind components? Why make a reward for something you can get from bounties and drop like candy anyway? The season pass rewards seriously need to be looked at for them to seem worth it, as I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds them extremely lacking.

Agreed. I also find it rather insulting that they have those boosters as fillers past rank 75. I mean half of the boosters are pointless unless you're running the seasonal gear which I'm guess majority aren't. Then add insult to injury with the 5 raid banners at 75 & 84, 25 shards at 78, 16k glimmer at 82, 25 mind components at 92, and the 100 bright dust at 96. As you said it's insulting. For hitting 9.2 million I got 25 vex components which got discarded because I'm at max and there's nothing worth spending them on. For hitting 9.6 million XP we're rewarded... half the bright dust a weekly vanguard bounty does, which is enough to get nothing more than 2 shaders from Eververse. To top it all off, post 100 we get 1 nostalgic engram every 5 ranks (Which I'm not 100% convinced that this wasn't added in more recently because people were pissed about nothing dropping post rank 100.) even though we've bought the pass. I mean honestly I think it would make sense that pass owners be getting at the very least a nostalgic engram every 1-2 ranks.
