Xur is STILL BROKEN.
Xur is ONCE AGAIN selling the collection rolls of exotic armors.
This is multiple weeks into Shadowkeep when the bug first started, and this is the SECOND time Xur has been bugged in this fashion.
Xur WAS selling Cerberus+1 at reset today, and is now suddenly selling Riskrunner. You know, the gun EVERYONE has thanks to Risk/Reward Quest. So clearly the devs and co are fiddling with Xur to... make things harder on the player? WHILE ENTIRELY IGNORING THE FACT THAT THE THREE EXOTIC ARMORS HAVE THE EXACT SAME STATS AND ELEMENTAL AFFINITIES AS YOU GET FROM COLLECTIONS.
Xur is a literal waste of a vendor since the launch of Shadowkeep and this is the SECOND TIME he’s had this bug. Once is understandable, twice is just questionable.
Fix. Xur. Now.
And give us Glass Needles while you’re at it. An entire QOL update to armor and yet we don’t have anything to reroll our Exotics. I want Void Stompeez dammit.

Xur has been useless since the introduction of destiny 2. In the original destiny xur actually sold current exotic gear, But in destiny 2, bungie thought it would be a terrific idea to not let xur sell current gear. What is the point of a black market arms dealer that sells useless gear/outdated gear, I doubt they would be be in business very long unless they are Bungie!!!!!

Sure, I'm just as annoyed as the next guy, but wording it like a moody teenager and making demands probably hurts the chances of getting this fixed, and I mean it makes it harder on all of us when people like yourself are actively discouraging developer intervention by acting so entitled... Just ask nicely next time, maybe they will feel encouraged to give us something out of it. Definitely not when you're like, "Fix. Xur. Now." Really, do you expect outrage to result in spoils?

13 RepliesWhy would he have new exotics every week. That would mean no grind. All you need is legendary shards to make purchases from him. Why would new exotics you don’t have equal to cheap easy get legendary shards. Makes no sense. Go out and play the game to earn stuff. If you got time to complain then got time to earn exotics the legit way.

Honestly same! When I seen he was selling Cerberus+1 I got excited cause I want to try it and when I seen him selling riskrunner I got highly disappointed..

On top of the glitch its riskrunner....we get a quest to get the gun plus its catalyst. They should take riskrunner out of xurs loot pool its literally a waste of space

I genuinely am at a total loss for what goes through Bungie devs’ heads when they say “Oh yeah, lets add random rolls to exotics now for more diversity and ability to make builds” and then instead of killing 2 birds with one stone and giving Xur a totally useful purpose to everyone in the game they just let him keep selling collection rolls and being utterly pointless. Decisions like this are why I can not force myself to defend this game anymore.

Very much missed opportunity to make him relevant again using the affinity system. Offer higher stat exotics under different elements even though they are repeats. Or even better, give him some masterwork materials to sell at a limited supply each week. Xur as the keeper of exotic wares, they need to remove the hefty cost of 3 ascendant orbs from masterworking exotics at the final tier and replace it with a new currency achievable from xur and as rare drop in game. Idk maybe.. strange coins... just a thought.

Dear Xur, I sincerely want to thank you for trivializing the acquisition of riskrunner for the cheap cheap price of 29 legendary and saving me the effort of going through all those menus to require a weapon everyone can get through a 10 minute quest. I know your "creators"(overlords?) at bungie messed this one up, but who ever fixes their bugs these days. I mean such trivial matters such as fixing a bug that's been around for over a month is beneath your overlords at bungie. Sincerely, That guardian who yelled at his screen after experiencing today's bait and switch.

I didn't even think of the element. That is messed up that it's been that way for this long. How small is the studio now. Perhaps they just don't have anyone to fix it.

Yea, this whole elemental affinity thing is ridiculous. It's rare enough to get an exotic period, much less to get the exotic you want if you already own it, and even worse so to get the one you want with the element you want. All I want is a void raiden flux.
