TL;DR: Title. I don't often make Bungie requests, and I know this one's been made before, but I came to the forums to add my voice, as it's right in that space that it seems Bungie genuinely cares about when it comes to patching: one specific perk being so indispensable that it becomes foolish/impossible to use anything else. Guiding Light, a ghost shell perk that gives a straight 10% XP boost, and has become one of those perks you'd be foolish not to use in Shadowkeep, given how important leveling has become to rewards and power. However, it is only available on a very small number of ghost shells; the only one I personally have that includes it is the Eris Morn shell. As a guardian with limited playtime each week who is already sweating getting a number of Undying season pass rewards before the end of the season, I feel like I'm hurting myself if I decide to use any other shells, including the [i]gorgeous[/i] Gilded shell I just got for donating to Bungie's current charity event. I might not be so adamant about sticking with my Eris shell if XP was really only about earning additional Eververse engrams as it has been in the past (I know I'm never going to get all that stuff, and that's fine), but now that it's tied directly to the acquisition of seasonal power and limited-time seasonal rewards, it's limiting our options in a real way. We've seen this must-have perk thing happen before--the insta-summon sparrow perk is the first one that jumps to mind, though at least that perk can be rolled on the vast majority of (if not all) exotic sparrows, so you just need to pull a few from collections and you'll get to use the sparrow you want with the perk you need. Not so in this case. Bungie eliminated the Nightfall XP boost back in Destiny 1 and just raised all XP gains intrinsically because they didn't want people to feel like they had to play a certain way specifically with regard to XP gains; I'm hoping they make a similar decision here, as I'd really love to use some of these other amazing ghost shells while also optimizing my seasonal reward and power grind.
