I am currently playing on PC and I cant even complete half of the missions I join due to the constant crashing. I would really appreciate if someone can help me resolve this issue, it's becoming very frustrating as the crashing will happen randomly anywhere in the game ranging anywhere from every 15 minutes to every several hours. I am continually getting the error code Broccoli and a message about graphics runtime crashing. I only started encountering this issue once Destiny 2 moved from Battle.net to Steam.
I have heard of some solutions where people are underclocking their graphics cards to achieve stable performance within the game, however I DO NOT want to do this as I paid a lot of money for my card. I don't want to underclock it, and why should I if its an issue, with the game and not my card. I'm running a 1080ti, why should that even be an issue? Every other game on my machine runs perfectly fine for many hours with no crashes.
Things I have already tried:
-Updating my Windows 10 OS to the latest version.
-Completely reinstalling the latest Nvidia graphics drivers and previous versions using DDU.
-Complete reinstall of the game through Steam.
-Verify integrity of game files through Steam.
Systems Specs:
Intel i7 8700k
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Gaming
MSI Z370-A PRO Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB RAM
Thank you for taking the time to look at my post, and I appreciate any help you guys can offer to resolve this issue.

Did you find a fix to this? Almost a year later and it's happening to me now. Can't find a fix anywhere

1 ReplyBroccoli is an error related to the game and the render thread losing access to the GPU, it's usually a hardware issue and for some reason Destiny is really sensitive to this, as any flaw will cause it to lose access. Things you can try are, update all drivers, remove any overclock done on your CPU/GPU/RAM, for RAM only keep the XMP profile enabled. Also test your RAM, using memtest, it will take a while so I recommend letting it do it overnight.

1 ReplySame issue here system specs: i9 9900k EVGA 2080ti Gskill 32GB 3200mhz game installed on samsung evo SSD Only "temporary" fix i have found to buy myself an extra 10-15 minutes is underclocking... Which seems ridiculous having a 2080 ti and the only game i have issues with is D2! I did notice my fans on my GPU trying to kick in to full power alot at this point it maybe the card but still unsure... Every other game is fine so no idea. Hope we can find a fix soon!
