Why is gambit still a bad game mode? Bungie had a whole season based on it and it's still the pile of mess that it was when it was released back in Forsaken
Everything about gambit that I think is tragic:
.The Xenophage, Izanagi's burden and leviathans breath being stupid good and makes invading pointless because you'll spawn and die instantly.
.The pinnacle and ritual weapons take Ten Thousand years to get and their always terrible (except 21% delirium, which has the longest time to get)
. Being able to delete the prime evil instantly, whats the point of a boss fight at the end of the round if the blockers have more health than the boss?
. The map designs are always stupid because it feels like there is more places to fall off the map than walk on.
. Can small blockers not be goblins they just shield the prime evil and it's always when someone is using their super and they only need 5 motes to spawn
Things I think are good about gambit:
. Most gambit weapons are good, with good perks you can get
(Everything I have mentioned is about normal gambit not gambit prime because there is nothing good about it)

4 RepliesYou’ve had over a year to git gud at Gambit. Gambit isn’t terrible, you are.
-
3 RepliesMaybe you should ask, 'Why am I still bad at Gambit?' Instead of blaming the game mode that you just cant git gud at.
-
1 ReplyGambit is a really fun, well balanced game gamemode, you just suck

Gambit is quite fun, especially when your invader knows what he / she is doing as opposed to hitting the invasion portal ASAP whenever it opens up. I like invading with a full set of invader armor, and it's pretty amusing to see the whole team gathered around the locked bank and looking quite confused when there are no blockers present :D

5 RepliesWhy on earth would you not clear blockers? Thats just basics.
-
2 RepliesAll that is YOUR opinion and all your points seem like a big YOU problem.

5 RepliesI enjoy it a lot. It's a good mix of PvEvP. Exit Strategy took like 6 hours to get. Hush takes the most time I think.
-
Seriously. You've had a year.

4 RepliesJust stop getting shot at.

Edited by name: 11/8/2019 1:04:27 PMbecause it was a epic shit idea to begin with , theres nothing what could save the worst game mode in FPS history , other than its deletion

I enjoy Gambit a hell of a lot more than Crucible.

Most of those are personal -blam!-. The only complaint I agree about is the Primeval being too easy to melt at times (though that requires a waterfall of sweat from stacks or really, really bad misfortune against randoms). The primary problems from Gambit are the bullshit catch-up system, the Heavy ammo economy is way too inflated, ad strength inconsistency (including blockers), and the unengaging Primeval fights.
-
The only issues with Gambit are teammates not playing to the objective, and allowing invasions from a Primeval team to a non-Primeval team.
