Izanagi - Black Armory Key Mold - Account Bound Bug is Back (ANOTHER HOTFIX RESOLVED!!)
Can someone from Bungie support PLEASE comment on this issue and confirm when it will be fixed. One of my characters (Warlock) had the Black Armor Key Mold in his inventory when Shadowkeep launched. However, I started playing my Hunter for the new expansion and it is now my main. I have been trying to complete the Izanagi's questline on my Hunter but I am COMPLETELY STUCK and cannot progress further since the Black Armor Key Mold will NOT be given to me on my alternate characters.
This issue was previously reported in January of this year and was 'supposedly' fixed in Update 2.2.0 back in March. This bug is now returned and the Key Mold is account bound to my Warlock and I cannot progress forward on my Hunter who has a completed Rare bounty and has all 3 keys plugged into the box.
" Fixed an issue where the Black Armory Key Mold quest was account bound, allowing only a single character to acquire it from Ada-1"

Unfortunately I bought the annual pass, how can I request a refund? If I am not satisfied with the service I will be able to request a refund, no? As for you my time has a price and I can't afford to waste it

I used the keymold before I knew there was an issue and it didn't work on the keybox. Post patch my main character did not receive the bounty nor am I able to get it. It's the last step I need..

It gets worst I already had my key mold and was on the last step but the last forge doesn't ignite even with a fully completed key mold I thought when they patch it it would get fixed but I guess they didnt test the entire quest out to see if it's still bugged any where else... at this point I dnt even want to put any more of my time into it barely have time to game at all now if days

As far as im aware its fixed i got mine yesterday it just started me off from where i left off try not to worry about alts and grin and bare it with the character that lets you

well i try get the izanagi for two weeks but the mision dont progres whit the black armor key mold this dont check the progres i need help whit that please

I had the same issue, but I actually solved it by doing a legendary frame from Ada. Then when I went back to get the forge-ready frame, she gave me the mold as well.

2 RepliesI had all the keys inserted on my Warlock and just needed the key mold from ada. But for some reason the mold is offered on my titan and not my warlock. Bungie you really need to hire competent coders that can fix a simple quest. This is so annoying and I am done playing your buggy game that takes years to fix a simple bug.

I was one of the people last week that used my black armory key after the mold quest step and nothing happened. Logged in today and I was on the next step for the quest thankfully. Obsidian crystal worked fine after turning in the rare bounty. Hopefully whatever is going on with the mold gets fixed for everyone else.

I'm having same issue I dont have the hunter I got mold on last year cause I started fresh for this dlc and now I cant get key mold to drop from ada 1 I have been stuck o this part since launch and its bull man just auto complete

Ya im having the same problem the key mold will only drop on my hunter which has no quest progression but not on my titan who has full quest progression

We'll pass this information on to the developers.'' Okay? so.. you want us to wait another couple of weeks before you change something...again? Does anyone actually test these fixes? did anyone actually think about the key mold? Like another player suggested, just have Ada-1 sell the -blam!-ing key mold. Me and other players have already done the quest to get it but your piece of shit buggy quest didn't give us the progression towards the mysterious box. Here's me thinking I was good to go, 3 keys in with a rare bounty ready and here I am, -blam!-ed because Bungie didn't think about the key mold. I shouldn't have to start the entire quest again on my other character, get all the keys again and acquire another rare bounty.

I’m tired of this b***..how can bungie cam hire professionals witj knowledge that can do a good job.. bungie use the money with paid for the game and dlcs.. now I have to re do all this long quest.. it is unbelievable.. this game is becoming a joke😡😡😡

Yeah, can't get the mold on my alt character. Also, can't get third key on my alt. Should be appearing in today's forge. Max temper and open the loot box...nothing. Be nice if this could get sorted out. I have a rare bounty on my alt but why bother?

the account key mold was never back it was there after the very first patch i know because when they patched it i had only 1 out of 3 characters obtaining the mold.

i completed the Goffanon forge quest and have spent hours and hours trying to get the vex Transponder to drop in nessus i cant get the key mold im getting sick of the waiting

2 RepliesWhy aren't these quests cross character? Why would you do an exotic quest three times? Right now I have one character with three keys in the box, one with the mold quest and the other has a rare bounty from Ada. Between that and the fact you have to wait for the Forge rotations now this quest is a complete pain in the backside.
