It dies instantly to all other roaming supers. Please buff resistance and buff for pve please
Edit: in pvp it just needs a resiliance buff. Even at a high resistance it dies to quickly. It reminds me of when stormcaller was so weak back when d2 started even with max resiliance.

If you aren't running contraverse hold then it's basically a trade or just a shotgun to the face. plus morons act like it gives a full grenade charge on every kill. Atomic breach hardly ever functions which is the exact same as mortar blast on titan. Either no knock back, no detonation or nothing procs and you lose a melee charge. On death melee blasts disappear. Dark blinks is extremely taking on the super making it more of a hindrance then a help. So to combat that you'd have to blink for an entire jump. Let alone pair it with an exotic for it to not be trash. Even then it doesn't fix the real issue with blink. Uncharged blasts are incredibly unreliable in terms of damage and radius. Leaving both supers and players our of super with full health or half health. Unfortunately uncharged blasts are really the only reliable way to contest supers. Yeah that's great considering for nova warp to do optimal damage I have to charge up and then detonate before damaging someone. Which takes a wapping 0.7 seconds to charge and detonate. Eleven seconds when you first activate your super and then charge up. Let's not forget how easily it is for another super to strike mutiple times after activation while nova warp can't effectivley do so. Plus other roaming supers can strike mutiple times it takes to charge up and detonate. Holding a charged blast drains your super even more you take more damage and are slown down. Dark blink severely drains super and you take more damage. uncharged blasts and full charged blasts take the same amount of super energy. Uncharged blasts limit fov and blind the user. Yeah this super is fundamentally flawed

With a nova warp buff this tree can become as powerful as a titan tree, which is unacceptable. Edit: Don't float towards them, blink on top of them....

23 RepliesIt needs some love no doubt. I'm not saying all the below needs to change but when they are all working against you collectively, its just too much. Armor too low. Energy burns too fast when warping. Energy burns too fast when holding a charge. Travel speed too slow in super when not warping. Range on an uncharged blast feel's way too short. (gotta be shoulder to shoulder) Spectral blades can kill me in one heavy attack but I have to do a full charge blast and small blast????

It always died almost instantly to every other roaming super. It's only saving grace was that it could kill other supers in one shot with a full charge

4 RepliesThe fact that you have to charge and it takes two hits to kill is laughable. You basically have to hover in the air and use your whole super to take out an arc staff or striker Titan (for example) and they just have to hit you once.

1 ReplyNova Warp needs to be much closer to its original state during Forsaken release. It is terrible in its current state right now. It should sacrifice durability for speed and damage, but right now it's slow and drains too fast. This is reflected in the Crucible where even bottom tree striker was more effective at this role than Nova Warp itself. Uncharged blasts do not kill high resilience guardians, and fully charge blasts are too risky when being team shotted. You are expending more super energy to get in position to detonate, and to survive than you are actually killing anyone. In PvE, it should have never been touched but because we live in a shared sandbox we can't separate balancing such as this. Nova Warp needs to do more damage and charged blasts need to expend less energy. Dark blink for both modes needs to be unnerfed for this super to have more speed.

She don't been nerfed for nothing. Instead of stupidly buff anything, nerf all super... sorry, all "Press F to Win". Super must be used with intelligency. Not be a panic button or a "press key to win".

1 ReplyI’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.... Nova Warp is fundamentally flawed. It’s been flawed since it’s inception but it’s pre nerfed speed, good charge time and excessive blast radius hid this fact.... it’s the ONLY super where you have to sit in perfect shotgun range for not being able to do anything till the charge goes off. Like I said before the nerf it wasn’t a problem because it’s A: speed was fast, B: attack speed was fast, and C: it’s blast radius was large enough you could be clear of shotgun melee combo. When bungie nerfed it they hit all 3 of its attributes at once which f*cking destroyed it. They then slightly reverted these changes but it still suffers greatly from these because currently. It’s base speed is abysmally slow, it’s charge time is also way to slow, paired with the reduced blast radius it leads to a super that requires quite literally perfect timing and placement to take out other supers when they can just spam attack you, and taking out plain guardians where you get 1-3 handcannon shots in then you get hit with a shotgun or one banged by erentil because the charge time + the fact you can’t blink and hold a charge makes you a sitting duck, thanks for coming to my fix nova warp TED talk, also buff vortex nova bomb, year 2, day 137.

They need to reduce the amount of energy consumption dark blink uses by at least 50% since its main quirk is teleporting to the enemy due to the abysmal ass snail pace it has now. Also the charged up blasts NEEDS to OHK all supers in the game due to charge time, and the non charged blasts should kill non-protected guardians within range (200 damage). Those are the only buffs Nova Warp needs to make with good but not overpowered.
