Imagine not working so you can play Destiny 24/7 and get to level 999.

The whole ordeal was kind of a disappointment to me. As soon as it the triumph to solo the shattered throne at 999 was revealed I was like “oh, thats awesome” and then once people actually started grinding to it I thought “they are going to do all this grinding and I am totally willing the bet doing the thing will do absolutely nothing at all”. Sure enough I was right. It was a total bait and the guy got a forum post in his name. Yes I know blah blah savathun is supposed to deceive us blah blah. But I really think that is just lazy. The players are posed with a very realistic clear cut challenge to complete under the impression that it will cure the curse of the city and unlock the 15th wish, [b]which we have been trying to do for a year,[/b] so finally getting some closure on the dreaming city story arc was going to be cool. But no. It was Savathun! You were deceived! And the dreaming city’s story will never be finished. It was lazy. All there is to it. They posed this hidden challenge and doing it does nothing whatsoever and they excuse it using Savathun as a scapegoat. Seems really stupid and disappointing. .

Just because something is part of lore does not make it true that's like saying just because a book says there are aliens that it means aliens exist lol .... Just like how we have clickbait well some lure can be category as clickbait because not all lore can be true. I'm talking about in terms of all lore paranormal lore urban legends just because it's in a book does not mean it's true. that's what you guys thought just because something was in Destiny 2 lore you thought it was true. Also the whole power level 999 to break the curse was never a confirmation from bungee it was part of lore and YouTubers overhyping like everything else in this community. I'm glad somebody reach that high level but you got to wonder does that this guy even have a life. Most people can't even get close to 970.. most people are either 920 or 950 or 960 + with all honestly I feel like the Pinnacle system is pointless. The only activity do you have after you it is 950 / 960 power is just nightmare master and Nightfall master. It's not like you get massive content for hitting higher levels. You could easily do Legend Nightmare and Legend Nightfall as 945-960. that's what a lot of people have been saying the content and Shadow keep after you hit the Pinnacle cap of 960 it's not that rewarding. There's no purpose to it. Other than more power to Chase. people want to chase New gear they want to chase new perks they don't want to chase power levels they're not going to chase power levels. it's one of the reasons I have been spreading the idea that the way Destiny 1 raids were how we had unique perks separate from the open-world that's how Raid content should be. The Raid should not be about power it should be about getting the best gear in the game separate from the open-world. example remember Destiny one we had crota and Hive weapons that had unique perks only acquired from The Raid.. people should not call a raid weapon a raid weapon when it has outlaw lol .. I mean helll most of the raid gear is recycled reskin content. I mean it's weird Bungie says they don't want people to chase power anymore they want people to be able to play with her friends but yet again Shadow keep feels like a throttled dlc To throttle players progression. if it really wasn't that bad and how come Bungie made a pass for today to make it easier to hit 950 lol I really think since Bungie decided to remove a lot of power sources they should have had more than two Pinnacle activities for Shadowkeep. example there should have been a pinnacle activity for regular strikes a pinnacle activity for PVP. Vex offencive should have been a pinnacle activity I mean helll bungee removed the tier 2 milestone for God's sake. This is just an observation.
