I agree. Recently saw a well known Destiny YouTuber say that one thing Bungie should do is add a solo activity that has greater rewards like pinnacles - that activity would be very challenging, but in theory EVERY player would have the opportunity to grind for that higher powered gear. Having paid quite a lot of money over the years, it would be nice to not feel like some content is off-limits due to my objection to playing with random people.

You won't get any sympathy here or on Reddit. Not because your point isn't a good one, because it is, but because casuals like you and I, even though we make up more than 67% of sales and more than 80% of profits are not the squeaky wheel try hard condescending "git gud" folks who post. As evidenced by the responses you have received so far, will say moronic things like "why would you need it?" while being completely incapable of understanding that that same thing can be said about every single thing that they obtain. Why would you need a shader? Why would you need the new DLC? They don't make the connection. Anything that isn't within their desired frame doesn't make sense. Others, will just completely lack any empathy. "If you can't do the tough stuff you don't deserve the good stuff." Or they lack the ability to understand that playing online games for some is a means to relax without necessarily having to plan it beforehand. Many of us with real jobs, don't have entourages of people who are constantly online that can play at a moment's notice. LFG with randoms is rarely fun or relaxing with ragequitting, oneupsmanship and folks who tell you that your loadout is no good. Yes I like to play with friends, but none of us can play 3,000 hours a year and have 150 clears of each raid so that we can run a raid in under an hour. You can't do a raid blind the first or second time with 2 hours a week, therefore we just don't raid. If you have time to run a raid 30 times in a month, you clearly have different life priorities and you won't understand why this is an issue. But we also don't complain. We're frustrated, in fact, downright pissed off some of the time. Maybe we'll post something once or twice, but then we get these kinds of responses and say why bother? Yet because we're stupid enough to still drop another $100 next time something comes along, Bungie doesn't need to appease to us. If Benji were a little bit smarter, they would actually do something to attract more of those of us who enjoyed D1 and could play and have a life at the same time. D1 wasn't perfect, but with respect to this, you never felt fully locked out of light levels are other possibilities.

Then why do you care about the pinnacle boost at all? You dont need those extra 10 levels running strikes and flashpoints, and crucible
