Please change the color of the screensaver and character selection-make them dark, or at least gray.
I'm an epileptic, and sometimes when you turn on the game screensaver very much hits the eyes, and because of what a headache.
I have to hide from the monitor with my hand. This is very unpleasant, up to a possible epileptic seizure.
And I beg you to change the color of the splash screen and character selection screen - make the color dark or at least grey.

I agree considering when you press to login it just suddenly switches from black to blinding white not even a transition like when it loads initially just bang there’s your flash bang mother-blam!-er

1 ReplyEdited by Rocket3497: 11/6/2019 11:23:55 AMYeah i’ve hated it since d2 came out, i totally miss the black loading screen we had in d1, the stupidly bright white screen is painful to look at to say the least, i’m tempted to turn off my screen for ten minutes and just walk away and come back when it’s loaded in every time. It really needs to be changed already.

Dark theme please
-
That pure white screen hurts my eyes even with no eye problems.

Whoever designed that in game loading window needs to be busted back down to a junior data base programmer. Probably the same person who did the valor sub rank up pop up which block your view for 15 secs.

3 RepliesJust crtl+c ctrl+v the d1 screen bungie, black looks so much better than this white thing.
-
2 RepliesThanks for the feedback! We’ll write it down on a piece of paper and pass it along to Luke Smith so his fat ass can fart on it!
-
Bump for darkness
-
i bought spare Sunglasses just for that Blinding Screen, no joke i always put them on when i launch the Game
-
I get migraines sometimes from the white screen.

1 ReplyWith the newest nvidia driver there's a new custom shader feature that allows you to make/apply your own custom shaders. To enable it's in the nvidia control panel. That might be an option aswell to help reduce the brightness from the start up screen. (assuming that your playing on pc.)

THIS RIGHT HERE. Im tired of being blinded by that white screen when I'm playing at night.

Edited by Chibi_Sushi: 11/6/2019 12:47:02 AMLast i remember someone posted, bungie replied and was looking into it. Its not that difficult, I agree with you, Health & Safety Its a bad for people with visual difficultlites and maybe worse siezures and retina burn.. particularly upclose or big tvs. the only thing i noticed logging in was asking for REAL money to up lv 900 on my 2 idle characters... :/

This. Also - The glaring bright screen is an obnoxious irritating waste of power for no reason.
-
This calls for a dark mode option
-
You have to enjoy it, then it will get nerfed
-
A lot of companies have been embracing a dark mode for their software. It cuts down on eye strain and generally makes using the software more enjoyable. I hated The Kings Fall Raid because of its use of bright flashing graphics, especially when facing Oryx and you were the runner. I think a star field background would be cool, maybe a Milky Way spiral galaxy?

1 ReplyI too enjoy being flashbanged when launching the game
-
I can’t possibly upvote this any harder. This NEEDS to happen.
-
D1 had a dark screen, so it’s not beyond the realm of possibility
-
Maybe try a glare shield
-
1 ReplyMake light not darkness ;) dont you have any other problems?
-
1 ReplyRealistically this isn't something they can charge for, so...you might be waiting a while...
-
I say to keep the same color scheme of the current DLC. In this case, the dark red one.

I would rather a picture of Luke Smith than the this white screen!!! Change it already, how hard can it be?
