I’ve probably wasted literal days of my life dismantling my thousands of blue drops. I’ve never kept a single one. Give me an auto dismantle option for blues please.

2 RepliesI never got this, theres plenty of time after each pvp match, each pve activity for us to dismantle. It literally takes me 30 sec or less to dismantle what I dont need and that's more than half the crap we get that we dont need so I dont get it. It's too hard to go in your inventory and delete/dismantle your unwanted gear and weapons?

It would be a great QoL change, just an optional 1 material and 100 glimmer instead of the actual engram. I know occasionally blues make good infusion fodder, especially now that an exotic infuses the same way a blue does.

Some of armor stat rolls I've gotten on blues is wild. Gauntlets w/ 30 Recovery... what?
-
I love how if you get two helmets one being blue and the other legendary the game will give you the blue every time when you only have room for one piece in your inventory.
-
1 ReplyI agree, But I do that in my loading screens 😅
-
Unless they are 950.
-
6 RepliesIf all your blues auto dismantle you will realize that none of the activities are rewarding. No more drops from strikes or chests.
-
8 RepliesA baby kitten dies every time you dismantle a blue item.
-
1 ReplyAgreed. Would love a mass dismantle option. Kinda like in some games you select a bunch of trash items and then mass sell or discard.

The problem is the economy Bungie created in D2. In D1 you had white, green, blue then purple. Each had a general cap as to how high they'd drop. After awhile Bungie altered it so greens would instantly dismantle upon picking up. Blue engrams dropped to about 10/20 levels below max light. Possibly more (50?) I can't recall. Then you had to rely upon Legendaries to hit max light. Now in D2, you can hit max light in blue armour. That is wrong and completely breaks the economy Bungie created. Because once you hit 950, there no need for "powerful" rewards or Prime engrams. I my personal opinion. Blues should only drop to 900. Normal legendaries should have dropped to 930. Then you would have had to rely upon both powerful and prime engrams to hit 950 and finally pinnacle rewards to advance beyond 950. Upon hitting 930, Blues should then automatically dismantle.

1 ReplyThanks for the feedback! We’ll write it down on a piece of paper and pass it along to Luke Smith so his fat ass can fart on it!

Please and thank you!

I've had good gear booted from my post for all mighty blues because I forgot to micromanage between Strikes and Nightfalls. Now I just don't care.
-
I think bungie may sell you that option in near future with the way they are going ><
-
What if Bungie employees don't believe in the love of god? 😨
-
starting at 950. you shouldn't even get blues once you hit the cap
-
The option would be appreciated.
-
If you're still doing that at this point you aren't playing right.
-
Once we hit at least the soft cap blues should auto dismantle .
-
No point having white and blue rarity in the game if every gear is much canned outside the rare occasion it is a higher gear level. Just give weapon parts as an uncommon drop and not pretend there are more than two rarities, "legendary" and exotic.

1 ReplyPlay Call of Duty Modern Warfare instead......
-
2 RepliesThey need to figure out a way they can charge for this first. This is D2 after all, where only greed drives change, nothing more.
-
And deleting useless components 1 agonizing after another, no option to clear an entire stack. Eververse certificates, over 250 of them - 1 at a time...

Edited by iLLuSioN: 11/6/2019 12:23:18 PMThis option was already in D1. Dont know why they took it away... it is really annoying for sure. Just make an option where you can put auto dismantle on or off.
-
Yes i totally understand and agree with you, unfortunately i believe that they are worried that if blues were to auto dismantle, it might make people feel like the game isn’t rewarding, but in the end there really is no excuse as to why we didn’t have an auto dismantle feature before the end of d1, this has been an issue for far too long.

1 ReplyYeeeeeeesssssss once you hit the soft cap blues are useless
