Please Remove Eververse from the Director

Simply put, there is no reason to have it in the Director. Keep it in the tower, keep it as a place where you actually have to visit. I'm playing through the New Light content and may consider buying Forsaken/Shadowkeep to support Bungie but Eververse in the Director really annoys me and is too close to mobile gaming. I know some people will say it doesn't matter but to me it appears sinister in how Bungie want to approach Monetization.

  • Imagine how much better the game would be if the Eververse didn't exist and we had to grind for Ornaments. Prime Engrams are useless right now but those could drop with armor that has a new shader on it. Weapon Ornaments could be put in Strikes, PVP, Gambit, Raids. People don't really do old raids so put Ornaments in them for each raid exotic, maybe get them after 5 clears when you own the weapon, it's grindable and for ever clear, you're one stop closer. Win 7 matches (Lose 12 matches) of Gambit prime to get the new Thorn Ornament. Get 100 kills with Ace of Spaces in Rumble to get the Ace of Spaces Ornament etc. Put in some Ada rare bounty type of bounty, it's grindy but you're still gonna chase the loot. We have sooo much Eververse loot in the game, now imagine if they spread that throughout the game for us to grind. Don't make them RNG drops, just do X amount of things or kill X amount of things to get the loot. I know this will never ever happen, but imagine how much better the game would be if they did that.
