In orbit i got 180, during pvp 180 to 250...
Why is this Bungie? PVP is unplayable like this... Also, why am i getting matched with Americans and Asians while i'm in the EU?

Don't have a choice on connecting to the U.S. for part of it.... that is where the datacenter is--Bellevue, Washington... just east of Seattle. It is something some people don't quite understand when they push for full on "dedicated servers"... everyone around the world would be thrust into that ONE datacenter. It would be like trying to play Destiny on the FFXI servers in Tokyo--HUGE server farm, but it was ONLY in Tokyo, which meant 200ms or more latency for about half the game's population.

Does @bungie even read this forum?

1 ReplyI got 164ms. I traced the IP and the connection goes via Paris to NYC all the way to Bungie. No wonder the round trip time is that high. That's most likely the login servers. Since the game is more or less p2p that does not say anything. For the matching.. that's just RNG like everything for Destiny.
