Someone brought this up and I’m starting to think they were correct. After rewatching the cut scene it does look like the rifleman took aim at cayde (not expecting his ghost) and only killed Sundancer because he had that option at the last second. If you use queen breaker, then you know what I mean with the charge rate.
This brings up a discussion of what the bullet would have done to cayde. Our thorn does not kill guardians (like in lore because that would be not game playing friendly) so I assume we made the gun and it’s in the vault. We know thorn can completely kill a guardian (from my understanding of Yor).
Was the red neck built version the rifleman going to use take cayde’s light away, poison him so he could not follow, or just kill him so he’d have to stop fighting and sundancer revive him?
Note: I say red neck built because the barons used their resources to make it most likely with mindbender’s wife giving the poison. Not to mention the rifleman rigging his queen breaker to use such a bullet.
Also... does this mean the prison of elder’s doesn’t check the inmates? Where did he store that bullet?
