I saw a couple posts praising it from a couple days ago but now that I've tried it I realized it's the worst mode yet. 8/12 people had Jade Rabbit. Rumble is more diverse.

4 RepliesPersonally I like it, but I think there's room for improvement. I've also enjoyed SWAT gametypes in Halo, and because of that I would like to see Momentum Clash, instead of just Control. Fixed loadouts might be interesting too, but I really like that due to the amped weapon damage, I can take a lot of different weapons into the mode and still be effective. 150 Scout Rifles are a constant threat, yes, and I don't always like it. Especially when they just hide and crouch somewhere it's awful, but that also was the case in SWAT. It needs some good tactics (or well-placed grenades) to get them. Unsure about Supers in the mode, I think we could do without them. Pure focus on gunplay.

1 ReplyAs a fanboy of Jade Rabbit I'm annoyed by it, since it is making everyone act like they're actually good with it. However yes it is a blessing for people working on weapon quests.

2 RepliesI despise it. It's been great for my Mountaintop quest though. Just 16% left for the rapid kills and Colony has been good for it since I don't need to get out of cover. There are three main issues though: 1.) 150 rpm Scouts should not be able to one-shot everyone without damage boosting perks. Drop the damage down to 190 per head shot so they can one-shot people with really low armor. At the damage they do right now, most matches are just people camping lanes with Jade Rabbit. 2.) 140 rpm Snipers shouldn't one-shot to the body. Just do the same with my suggestion for Scouts and drop the body shot damage to 190. They're basically just big Scout Rifles right now. 3.) Full health on kill is really bad. Supers become near impossible to kill due to this. Just take this effect away from Supers and it's fine. The main focus of the mode should be gunplay after all. Personally, I think only 110 Hand Cannons should be able to one-shot people in this game mode. They're short range and misses are pretty much fatal. Reward precision and get people to move into range.

I wasn’t the best at it when I started, but then I’ve gotten in the top 3 a couple times. Good for quests and triumphs

2 RepliesI enjoy it, but people need to play it like a mode to go have fun in and try new guns they never can get kills with. I've used Rat King and Orewing's Maul grenade launcher which is garbage in normal crucible modes, I love it, get a kill with a sidearm, go invis and then sneak in someone with that grenade launcher. What ruins my fun is just getting one shot by people who panic fire when you get close and get a lucky headshot
-
I’m a fan. Which is saying something considering I’ve lost like 3/4 of the matches I played in it,
-
I like it. It does feel like Destiny 2 Swat or Hardcore.
-
I like it so far.
-
It was so terrible that I didn't bother to finish my first match. I will never play it again.

8 RepliesI've been playing it lately to get some scout kills and I've been enjoying it. For the most part it's a breath of fresh air in the crucible, but it does have its fair share of problems. First, it favors scout rifles a bit too much. As much as I enjoyed getting some easy quest progress for Randy's, having a primary weapon that can 1-shot at most ranges is a bad idea. I want the opportunity to try out other weapon types. I bet autorifles would be fun with these settings but I just can't compete with an insta-kill weapon which everyone else is using. Second, having quick respawns is causing a huge increase in spawn kills. I'm not talking about spawning, walking for three seconds, and dying. I'm talking about getting killed while you're still trapped in the spawn animation. This is annoying and happens repeatedly. With that said, I'm still enjoying momentum control and would like to see it again. It just needs some adjusting.

1 ReplyDon’t even have to play it to know I won’t like it. Seems like the perfect dad gamer mode to me.
-
for me is a no no , i don't like cod mode style
-
It was great at the beginning, until everyone figured out the Jade Rabbit was boss. Now it sucks.
-
No. It’s the definition of toxic.
-
At least it makes the pinnacle quests easier. But the gamemode itself needs work.
-
Meh its ok. I like it and mayhem. Good for having some fun while not taking it seriously.
-
I like it until I switch to another game mode, it breaks my brain for a minute or two
-
Not my mode, for sure. I've played it only to finish the Triumph for the Mountaintop. After months and months I was only at the 55%... in one day I completed it. I would never play it again.

1 ReplyI love it and love seeing snowflake scrubs die that think they have skill bc they play Destiny.

Getting one shot is never fun. It's why everyone complains about shotguns and fusions. You really do have to be a lot more aware of you positioning: making sure you're not exposed, knowing where enemies are going to pop up etc. But yeah, if once a team has 2 zones they can basically just camp and 1 shot every attacker with Jade Rabbit or Polaris.

Needs radar, or everything granting wallhacks needs disabled. Middle tree nightstalker with kepris sting and a 150 scout is the only competitive option in the current state.
-
We need bigger maps
-
As much as I hate it, it’s been good for working on my Suros catalyst
-
-blam!- no

I wanna burn it with fire
