Best Loadout for Final Dungeon Boss?
Anyone got any pro tips?
Tried using machine guns (hammerhead, fixed odds, thunderlord) as a fireteam, and it was terrible.

Kill knights for swords. Use those swords for the entire time until boss phase. Then use titan bubble away from the boss and run in and out using weapons you like that have a decent rate of fire. Use a debuffing Grenade then shoot away. Have one shot supers for best dps. Grenade launchers are decent for DPS along with exotic snipers, rockets, and machine guns... I'd say hard pass on heavy swords. If you don't kill the boss, rinse and repeat until you do.

I used izanagi’s burden for the swordbearers, A bow for long rang engagements, and a grenade launcher to deal with Zulmak. However, because you have to be in the middle in semi-close quarters during damage, they are extremely safe to use. Using airborne boosting exotics is actually an underused good idea here - lion rampants, stompeez, etc. You're off the floor, away from the cursed thrall, and his flaming sword attack stays on the ground. If someone uses a Well, one person on your team can stand on top of it and be pretty much immune during damage.

3 RepliesHuh? The boss was too easy in my opinion. I used 21% Delirium and 2 of my clan mates used Wendigo (I think. I know one did for sure). I was running Trapper tether, my Warlock pal used Stormcaller, and my Titan buddy used Sunbreaker (the one with Melting Point). We got a bad 2nd damage phase so we had to 3 phase the boss, but I feel like we could have 2 phased him. Other than that, it was Randy's Throwing Knife and Recluse for me, Randy's and Sunshot for Titan, and unknown Kinetic and Sunshot for the Warlock.

Outbreak Perfected Loaded Question Wendigo Celestial Nighthawk Golden Gun. Pretty good altogether to bring in a high boss damage.

I mainly used mountaintop and bad omens with a boss spec for the encounter. I rarely touched my secondary during that fight. My two clan mates were using riskrunner throughout the whole dungeon and it was doing them good.
