Dear Bungie,
I just cleared the pit of heresy dungeon solo. I did not do it in one go - I am not some kind of pro player and I took my time since yesterday continuing today trying to do it - I spent a lot of time trying to complete the 3rd encounter especially. Still I entered all the times ALONE and did EVERYTHING by myself. If it is a bug please fix it but if it's not and the intended way to do it is on one go then please say so in the triumph, we are not oracles to GUESS. Also for those of us who completed it in more than one sessions please make sure we get the triumph as I fulfilled every condition needed to get the triumph as described on the triumph itself (complete the dungeon pit of heresy alone).
Have SOME respect for the playerbase and those of us who put in effort in the game please.

I should have read this post last night instead of wasting my time... I decided to get the last Luna's Lore in the Pitt of Heresy last night to complete the Luna's Lost lore book before going to bed. Afterwards, I thought I should try finish this solo tomorrow night for the solo triumph completion for the Harbinger seal. So... I just finished after about 3 hours of taking my time trying to stay alive and I got the same result you did. No triumph completed. They should have communicated that requirement in the description of the triumph because it feels like a kick to the head.

I'm adding to the salt here myself. I've spent roughly 3 hours in the dungeon, almost broke my table at the Chamber of Suffering, and had to tolerate this sick glitch where after a DPS Zulmak sends hordes of thrall and all his 3 swordbearers to me standing behind the wizard's tower. In the end I defeat Zulmak, and without clear description of the triumph you don't allow me to take time get back to orbit because I have personal stuff IRL to do? I didn't go into the dungeon to do fricking solo FLAWLESS, but only solo for the seal! Shame on you, Bungie. You profit off of something you make so challenging but then you make triumph so unclear that you make me spend my time nerving and in the end you show me middle finger!

Started a new topic: Pit of Heresy -- Solo Clear -- No Triumph Awarded(4 Replies))
-
Edited by Biitti: 3/27/2020 6:46:06 AMim at the boss room right now without dying had to go orbit last night tho so im prob not gonna get that triumph but we see what happens my guess it's has to be all in one run Edit: No triumph and didn't die during boss fight thats -blam!-in lame
-
Ah. The ol' get raid banners after an hour tricked me out of a solo triumph. Gravy.
-
I just completed it solo and didn't get it for the same reason. This is the worst, they either need to fix this or clarify it in the triumph!
-
Agree 100 percent I spent 3 hours n finally beat the final encounter if this need to be done in one run it should say so..
-
Feels bad man! Just happened to me 😓
-
got mine in 1 run, has to be flawless single run only.
-
2 RepliesYeah, was upset about this the other day cuz I left mid run to grab more banners cuz I just assumed I had enough when I went in. Then I went at it in one go later and got the triumph. I may not be remembering it right, but I'm pretty sure with shattered throne you could leave mid run and it would still count.
-
just done it the same pal, had to do stuff with kids in-between etc never watched any strat videos etc just figured it and got it done then and no triumph... they should have definitely told us it doesn't work the same as Shattered Throne.... Ah well I feel confident getting it again but it totally sucks.... get back in there guardian
-
It has to be flawless. The achievement is for solo flawless. Unlike the shattered throne where the solo emblem is just for a solo clear
-
Can’t go to orbit. Cheaters would leave to orbit to avoid missing a flawless.
-
3 RepliesWell dude, what’s the point anyway? You get the emblem only if you do it flawless. What I find hilarious is all the cross save players that quickly come back to consoles once they complete their triumph to shine, when everyone else is actually thinking: git gud scrubby pc player.
-
Only counts if you do it in a single run, sorry.
-
2 RepliesYou can't leave. In order to get the triumph you need to do it without leaving. The game doesn't have a way of seeing if your checkpoints were earned alone or with a fireteam so in the future don't back out of anything that requires a solo completion.
-
I’m under the impression it has to be in one go. Shattered Throne could have been calculated differently due to two things, the fact that it was an event that occurred once every three weeks, and the fact that you couldn’t reset your checkpoint on it at all until recently.
-
1 ReplyPC and void warlock huge advantage. Have fun with Hunter on console. Will be impressed with that combo.

Happened to me.
-
2 RepliesYou need to do it in a single run without going to orbit, Don’t know if it’s a bug or they changed it because it wasn’t like that for Shattered Throne
-
Hah. You wasted your time.
-
It has to be start to finish. Learned the hard way with shattered throne.
-
1 ReplySame happened to me. Luckily I recorded the final boss for proof lol. Also, nice
-
4 RepliesJust like shattered throne/raids/heroic menargerie, triumphs or emblems that require less than a full fireteam and/or a flawless run requires a full run from scratch without entering orbit at any point until its completed.
-
23 RepliesMy guess is that it has to be a single instance. Because too many people could just load up the boss checkpoint and beat it alone and get the triumph. It’s a pain but you will have to do it in one big go.
