I know most people do not care that much since they are not that invested in Destiny 2 pvp, but can we get an anti-cheat system in place? I mean aim botters, ddosers have been common before, but now people are just straight-up teleporting in comp with infinite lives. Bungie can you do something ffs? You used to be able to beat the cheaters if you were good enough, but now you just straight up lose due to how they cheat and survival's respawn mechanic.

6 RepliesEdited by Spawn: 11/3/2019 2:53:08 PMThere are already many systems in place that target cheating. If you want proof, look no further than the Help forum. There are literally dozens and dozens of posts made daily on users getting banned from Destiny 2. Bungie has created an ongoing conversation of this for a while, and the best thing you can do is report suspect cheating to Bungie. Users that are actually cheating will have justice coming to them. The direct form to report suspect cheating is here on help.bungie.net, you can even submit video. Make no mistake, no one likes playing with cheaters. As a general reminder to everyone, we (Forum Ninjas and Bungie) do not tolerate posts of suspect cheating on the forums (we never have), posting users information on the forums or any claims of suspect activity will be removed - under harassment and potentially get yourself removed from the forums. You can read our full Code of Conduct here (specifically under 'harassment') on how we define this. Thanks.

I know this is an old post, but its now 2021 and almost every control match ive played recently has had cheaters. I just dont get it. This idea that "they'll just create a new account..." is a valid argument but they should catch a ban on EVERY SINGLE ONE. Surely they'll get tired of it right? This shit is demoralizing. It makes me not even want to play anymore and ive poured years of my life into this game. I regret moving to PC. The "master race" is corrupt. I think the only way to significantly fight this is for Bungie to remove ftp and for steam to get involved and do full IP bans for verified cheaters. Lock them out completely. I think the loss to sales for a time would justify the means in purging this scourge. Integrity is priceless.

1 ReplyCan we get any kind of reasonable matchmaking while we're at it? I love being in the starting levels of survival and getting matched against teams of triple-recluse wielding players bearing emblems showing how many multitudes of times they've reset their various ranks. It doesn't matter how many points you earn for a win, if winning requires the stars to align in the first place.

6 RepliesPs4 is getting bad too

4 RepliesWatched a video of a guy on pc go up against a hacker. This guy was literally killing him as he spawned no joke he literally couldn’t fish his respawn animation
-
Bungie is powerless to stop cheating on PC. When all a cheater needs to do is create a new account to cheat again, you are powerless to stop it. Bungie -blam!-ed up big-time by going f2p.
-
We've been asking this for literally years; in fact, they recently allowed a notorious cheater back on the game and what did he immediately do? The exact thing that got him banned in the first place. I would have immediate and permanent bans for all cheating/exploiting in pvp but I digress. I think Aztecross recently put out a video about how he doesn't want trials back right now because they don't do enough - if anything - to cheaters.
-
It'd be nice if ppl weren't such losers and decided to cheat
-
3 RepliesGo to the PC support section, its hilarious seeing all the cheaters get banned.
-
YES! thank you, finally someone who speaks! i am sick of bungie only spending money on pve and eververse. there are not many thing pvp players ask for, like trials, and real servers, but no

2 RepliesBungie support cheaters.

Edited by Crux: 11/2/2019 6:44:44 PMSure if people wanna cheat solo an alone not affecting anyone elses experience fine its not harming me or anyone but when they take it to pvp start aimbotting thinking theyre good an try an deny that they cheat / or start teleporting an killing everyone over an over just whats the point im tryna freelance comp to get my recluse an cannot because literally everyone i run into is cheating.... Am i supposed to stay in a game an get killed over an over an let me comp rank decrease rapidly or am i meant to leave an get comp suspended its a joke.

gotta do "something".

3 RepliesI know it’s been around a while but isn’t playing on someone else’s account also “cheating “. See people streaming on Facebook playing on someone else’s account to get them whatever in comp. There’s no real way in game to know either..

3 RepliesThose teleporting cheaters are the worst thing I've ever seen, and I used to moderate Counter Strike servers back in the early 2000s. I wonder if these are the people advertising $49 Not Forgotten quest completions. Or the suckers who paid someone to cheat on their account I should say. That's a lot of work for $49.

10 RepliesBut I thought master race and unlimited frames 🤔

10 RepliesThere already is. If a cheat program is detected it flags that player for investigation. You can also use the in game report system or the report form found by searching "reporting players" on Bungie.net. With enough reports that player is flagged for investigation. If Bungie staff find reason to they then issue punishment. Please see the #Help forum to see for yourself that action is been taken.

I laughed because I knew it was coming. It goes hand in hand with ftp lol. Ftp should have one pvp mode only and not with paid players sorry, but with people teleporting on you and your team with instant kills and instant transmission supers lol I see it's the only fix this game could do. I doubt any anti cheat will be implemented.

Edited by ImOuttaGum: 11/2/2019 12:44:29 PMsince moving to steam and becoming a free to play title these two combinations give hackers all they need, piss poor anti cheat/if any and the ability to make another account if one is banned. my last game of control, the slightly less try hard mode compared to classic mix was my first taste of a real hacker in destiny 2 on pc. I called it in chat and someone else also confirmed they think he was hacking. using V wing with 1500 kills total, but every single one of his elims were head shots. his clan was Chinese and had 5 memebers, joining was open which I did after the game ended the player in question had logged off destiny but was still online according to the clan page. Kruzers Russian titan also blew my mind on just how bad it can get playing against hackers. once d2 had moved to pc I moved to, and I never had any issues at all or maybe non that I could understand or point out and I had fun!, the move to steam and the free to play model has had a huge impact on the quality and quantity of hackers flooding destiny on pc. I play destiny for pvp, since beta destiny but I enjoy pve because it gives me the things I want to use in pvp and not many games provide that experience, at least fps games. if this continues to be a problem I will leave the destiny franchise completely, im not going to waste my time playing against hackers. the players name was renata77, if you see him im sure you will realise hes cheating.

Stadia is the answer! https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/254197947

24 RepliesPvP player here. Haven't seen many actual cheaters at all on PS4. Lag? Yup. Cheaters? Rare.

Lol pc

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 11/2/2019 1:20:52 AMThey got one. People are always getting banned. Could it be better? Sure, but its probably tough to stay ahead of all of the people trying to cheat the system. I report if I see anything suspicious, it helps Bungie find the cheaters or laggy people.

6 RepliesThey do it's just so advanced they it doesn't ban cheater's
