Real talk, the one thing that's always bugged me about the female characters in this game is how flat all of them are. Not even just the Guardians, but [i]everyone[/i]. Not saying they should add a Japanese-CAC-style bust slider to character creation but... it wouldn't hurt lol.

Varied character proportions either leads to messily stretched meshes, or a large amount of busy work for the 3d sculptors. More varied character customisation is obviously a benefit in games styled like Destiny, since a custom character is a large portion of the concept, but the manner in which Destiny's 3d models are designed and rendered to the character can't afford custom bodily proportions without the 3d artists to be swamped with work.

I feel like the female guardians looked more feminine in general in D1. I don't know if the new shapeless guardian design is laziness or something else..... Female guardians can be badass and still look like ladies....it's not a bad thing.

Hard pass. Bungie could focus on so many other things than making adjustable bust sizes. Plus, when you consider that we spend 99% of our time in first person mode it shouldn't really matter that your space wizard zombie isn't a busty vixen with a butt that won't quit. This is a fantasy shooter, if you want cute outfits and busty character models try playing GTAV.
