Pit of Heresy loot drop rates
I've done two completions of the new dungeon and didn't get any of the dungeon specific loot (shortly, sniper, rocket or pulse). In each run, only one fireteam member got a single drop. Was talking to another friend, and nobody in his fireteam got one of the new weapons to drop. I even popped the Eris bounty that's supposed to increase your drop chances. Is anybody else noticing the frustratingly low drop rate, or is this just bad rng on my part?

I got weapons from both encounters. Only used the booster item once at the start. Weirdly everyone in the Fireteam got the exact same drops. 🤨

4 RepliesI got the pulse only after using the weapon consumable. Same with everyone in my fireteam. You may need the consumable to get the pulse, not sure. The sniper, shotty, and RL are from Sorrow's Harbor. You get one piece of fully masterworked pinnacle dreambane armor at the end of the dungeon. Considering how fast you can fly through it now, it is well worth it imo.

just did my first run today. I got the shotty and the pulse both god awful rolls but I still got them

Edited by Lord Magris: 11/1/2019 10:50:15 PMNo dungeon-specific loot in there, but I got things to drop at every chest. Even found an extra chest that just rewarded basic Patrol loot. Not sure if any of that is what you're talking about, but just leaving this input here.

The new weapons don’t drop from the dungeon, if they do they aren’t dungeon specific and are likely rare, instead they drop from completing the alter of sorrows (or whatever it’s called) on the moon, which is basically ep. The only unique dungeon weapon drop is the pulse rifle, but apparently even that you can get outside of the dungeon.

Very disappointing. I haven't done it yet, was gonna do it tonight

Seems like people are only getting the shotgun this week so it probably changes each week like Escalation Protocol. As far as the pulse goes, I don't even know if people have figured out how to get it yet, and if they have, I haven't seen it anywhere. EDIT: I'm seeing on Twitter now that people are getting the sniper, so scratch what I said about them rotating weekly. However, the point that they don't drop from Pit of Heresy still stands as far as I know. Regarding the pulse rifle, I believe you can get it from Eris' Dreambane Engram but the Essence of Envy it's tied to doesn't seem to be obtainable based on about 10 minutes of looking for the source on Google.
