Battle.net progress on wrong steam account.

I've been having trouble with my destiny 2 progress ever since the migration. Basically what happened was when I migrated my destiny 2 characters from battle.net to steam, bungie linked the wrong steam account. It linked to my old steam account I no longer use and had locked due to security purposes. When I am in my correct/current steam account my battle.net progress does not show in the game and it made me make a new character. Fortunately I was still able to login to my old steam account and when I launched the Destiny 2 from that account, my battle.net progress was still there. So looks like all I need to do is find a way to transfer my progress from the old/locked steam account to my correct/current one. I need someone from bungie to do this for me or tell me how to do it myself please. As additional info though due to several troubleshooting steps, I had linked and unlinked both my steam accounts to bungie.net. Currently no steam account is linked to my bungie account and haven't linked any of them back again because when I do so through https://www.bungie.net/7/en/PCMove it's saying that my battle.net ID does not have any destiny 2 characters in them. So I have not proceeded to re-link any of my steam accounts just to be on the safe side.

Editing it to 'deleted' doesn't make your post go away. I'll quote your post this time to help you out. As I stated in your other, now edited, thread:
Bungie.net only has access to the singular account that you, yourself, set up with the system when you linked it to Bungie.net. Bungie did not choose your old account randomly, you chose it very specifically when you logged in and authenticated to it when linking and preparing for the Migration. Unfortunately, if you Migrated your information to that older account, then in order to access those characters or licenses, you'll need to log in on your Steam client with that account. They will not be moved to a different Steam account. Your save data is now tied to that specific Steam ID. Changing your linked Steam account on Bungie.net doesn't move that save data to the new Steam ID.
As I said then, and now again; your save data is now linked with that Steam ID. Bungie will not move that save data, nor can you do so yourself. If you want to access that save data, you'll need to use that Steam ID.
