Mysterious Box Quest - Hand Lock key wont work
Me and my friend have been trying to do the mysterious box quest and have got the butterfly and fish locks open. Twice now weve got the key for the hand lock and used the item but it hasnt updated the quest. Any ideas?

3 Repliesits currently bugged im having this issue as well inserted the key 3 times and sitting on a 4th key. And from reading other posts on the forums it seems to be the box in general is bugged and keys arent giving progress like they should

They don't want the gun out there so they purposely keep it bugged. What other explanation could it possibly be? It's used for all of the pinnacle content.

I've been grinding every bounty every day 7 days a week for 2 months now to get a rare bounty for first part of quest. Still haven't got one. Seriously, what the -blam!- is with the rng aspect of completing exotic quests, it's bullshit. At this stage I'm bout to give up. Grinding irrelevant content to get one of the current best guns in the game is really starting to break me. Add to that, grinding for Randy's throwing knife and having apparent rng with medals actually counting towards medal progress or just deciding not to, both situations combined have pretty much dissuaded me from taking up any more weapon quests.
