The fact that it has not been reworked in survival at all (or in a noticeable way) makes matches nearly one-sided to those who grab heavy, eliminating a good chunk of skill in gunfights
Change it to be only once every 4 rounds or something

What about eliminating heavy amo drops in survival but giving each player a very small reserve of it to use strategically throughout all four+ rounds. The better team looks down the heavy ammo and makes an already one sided match even worse. Perhaps if matchmaking wasn’t so out of wack this wouldn’t be an issue.
