I see Bungie changed the season pass policy so each user must purchase it separately now, but many people seem to be able to play Shadowkeep on their home Xbox from one DLC. We cannot. Only the account where it was purchase from has access to Shadowkeep, the others require another purchase. Is this correct, or how do I correct this on my Xbox so all accounts can play?

1 ReplyFirst, make sure the account that owns Shadowkeep goes into the settings on the Xbox and sets the Xbox as the home console for that account. After doing so, log in using the account that doesn't have access, and then go to the Destiny 2 Manage Game menu. There, install everything in the Ready to Install section. Sub accounts need their own DLC unlock keys for Destiny 2 downloaded and the Xbox doesn't always do that automatically, so you need to do so manually with the above method. If you still have trouble, you'll need to contact Microsoft concerning a problem with License Sharing as it's not supported by Bungie. It's a Microsoft Xbox feature and not a Bungie/Destiny 2 feature, so anything else needs to be discussed with Microsoft.

3 RepliesI am game sharing the dlc with my son, just using the normal game share set up as you said, the season pass does not share but the expansion does
