I agree. People saying this is a free to play game now, really? It’s not free to play. Parts of it are free, but in comparison to Fortnight or Warframe, it’s absolutely not a free to play game. Those two games have every right to charge high prices for their cosmetic items as they are true free to play.
I know there is the “it’s only cosmetic, you aren’t required to buy any of it” argument, but that is not the point. A game that you pay for it,and pay full price for it, then asks for pretty high prices (relatively speaking) for their cosmetic items doesn’t seem right. I know Bungie is a business and they need to make money. But there are scummy ways to make money, and they seem to be on that path.

Who has ever said this was a free to play game? We pay for base game and every expansion. That alone defeats the free to play argument.

I completely agree. It’s unreal how many people suddenly think this is a free to play game now 🙄

They earn that from doing right by the players. Bungie has yet to.

I have no issues with mtx in free games but think having this amount of mtx in full priced games is just greedy and a plague in the industry. My issues is the obvious huge amount of time and resources spent on making the mtx...yet the expansion doesn't actually have that much loot, that's just crap.
