Why does the Last City look so different now?
The Walls are different, the traveler is much larger, and the other towers are missing? Help me understand what happened.

Edited by DarkenedAcolyte: 10/25/2019 3:18:09 AM1. The walls aren’t that different. They were rebuilt. 2. The Traveler looks larger because the new Tower we’re in is closer to it 3. The other Towers are not missing. If you look to the sides of the Courtyard, you can literally see the old Tower...

Some of the difference is because the new Tower is in a lower location than the old one, so the buildings are more visible. Also, there are craters from Cabal bombardment. And possibly, when the Travbeler reawakened, it repositioned itself so it could protect humanity better.

Because the Traveler moved closer to the Earth and then blew up to get rid of the Cabal cage. Actually, I have no idea. Bungie probably couldn't entice the original artists to stick around for D2.
