Tree of silver wings
Ive notice for a while now bungie uses same mountain/hill as a back drop every time we enter the black garden and i believe we even ascend the mountain in GoS.
My theory is that mountain is actually the stump of the tree of silver wings, and when the traveler left the black garden the tree (which probably represents the tree of life) died.

The tree exist even beyond the game. The gardener and the winnerowner see destiny as a game. In a 2d board. It's amazing.

Doesn’t it look a little different in the cut scene within the pyramid? I haven’t sat down to do a good comparison of the Garden and the cut scene. From a glance I noticed some curiosities.

Are you talking about that odd plateau with a light green mist above it? Is that not where we fight the Sanctified Mind at?
