I mean, I’m not regretting the $35 I spent. What I hate is that it’s a hard call to make because all the content isn’t out yet
Intellectual and engaging conversations only. If you don't have an argument to back your claims you will be memed on.
I’d say wait until one has the actual total of hours played and divide it by the $35 one has paid. I’m sure the $/hour played would be worth it compared to other hobbies. A weekend of drag racing motorcycles would cost roughly $500. A sport bike track day, almost $300. So to say it’s “worth it” , is subjective. This game me, is the cheapest hobby I have.

Absolutely. The Moon is amazing, Armor 2.0 is a fantastic base to expand on, the new weapons and armor are quickly replacing my old gear, the raid looks to be the best ever (haven't yet done it), the Nightfall system is fantastic, the reslottable mods and Artifact system make builds a breeze, the Battlepass (though technically part of the season) is great, The Nightmare Hunts are fun, if not a little unrewarding, the Dungeon will be fire, and the evolving world and weekly changes are what I've wanted since D1. Easily the best state the game has ever been in, with room to grow still

These seasons should be $20 tops if they keep doing Eververse the way they’re doing it now. I don’t see them including a new raid every season so it’ll balance out.
-
Part of that $35 is for Season of the Undying, so I'd say yes, so far it has been worthwhile.
-
yep, full length raid is worth ~15-20 by itself imo.

Edited by Docyx13: 10/22/2019 5:30:18 PMHonestly, I really like it. Right now I'm sitting at worth 25. If that dungeon is anything like Shattered Throne? 35 easy. Edit: Forgot it came with Season of the Undying too (I bought the Deluxe). It's definitely worth 35. I would argue once the dungeon launches it would be worth even more. Great deal.

The content itself is great but unfortunately they also created a lot more problems. Their servers are getting worse not better. It does not matter how good the content is if the game has to many issues or is unplayable at times. My opinion at this point and time is; save your money. There is honestly too many problems to list.

due to the nature of content these days, its hard to determine valuation until everything has released. But if shadowkeep's dungeon is anywhere close to shattered throne, I suspect it'll be worth it to me. Shadowkeep's day 1 content felt light, but it just keeps growing and growing, as story and quests continue to unfold.
-
[I would say so, especially when you look at the content you paid for. Paying for shadowkeep gives you the moon, which is admittedly a reskin of the moon from D1, along with the shadowkeep campaign with all the lore and content that comes with it. You also get season of the undying with its lore and loot pool. Final opinion is that it was totally worth it for the lore if not anything else.]

Meh, not gonna say no. I've been enjoying my time back in the Destiny universe. They did a good job on the moon revamp. Had some fun doing the Vex incursions. Have only done the first SK campaign mission, but I hear there aren't many of those. It did include the season of the Undying, so that's a plus. Not a huge fan of armor 2.0. I just level to 4 or 5 and put recovery on everything.

3 RepliesYeah, because I'm an adult and thirty five bucks is chump change. Also, everything is better. Not even concerned with powerful rewards because there's so much stuff to do all the time, I just do what looks like fun at the time.
-
5 RepliesNo. Especially with the biggest focus being on eververse. I'd say $20. And if this current season is any indication of whats coming in the next season, I'd say those are only worth $5 a pop.

Next year it’ll be
-
No. 20-25 dollars.
-
1 ReplyForsaken content increased over the weeks, give Shadowkeep another week or two.

Yea it's pretty fun. An improvement over Forsaken, but I'm still open to criticisms. PvP was hell at first, but I think the matchmaking changes fixed that. Haven't done any Ritual weapons yet. Played GoS and got a nice bow, armor and Divinity. A fun Raid when all the cogs are in place and working properly. Really intense if you're on the last damage phase and the Boss Tether is the color you need 10 motes for because someone didn't go though the portal (me), but then got the 10 quickly, dodging the Overload Minotaur and got the Tether going for damage phase. (also me) I like it, it's been really fun so far and I can't wait for the Dungeon. Also, not Shadowkeep but Vex Offensive is fun as well if you're looking to kill time doing whatever. It's like a shooting range really.
