Massive FPS drops when I am in the tower or crucible
So I have really low FPS whenever I am in the Tower or in Crucible like below 30 fps. This is making crucible really hard to play as stuff freezes up constantly. I have tried messing around with all kinds of settings no of which fix the problem.
My current system:
i7 6700k
16 gb ram
1060 3gb
Freesync monitor
If I can I get some help with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, try going into a private PvP game solo, and see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, you are more than likely experiencing networking problems. I have the same issue sometimes and my PC is beefier than yours. QP is generally the worst because of the physics processing of 12 players. The physics info each player generates has to be shared amongst all players in the lobby and can result in horrible lag and or FPS reduction where your version of the game tries to sync with the lobby. Resetting your router and starting a fresh game can help. Not ideal but worth a try. Freesync doesn't handle this problem as well as G-Sync because it uses dedicated hardware in the monitors. I have a Freesync card and can hit 175 FPS in game sometimes but being in the Tower on occasion only returns 60 FPS and its stuttering like mad. Hope you get it fixed.
