Alright hear me out! You still can get armor drops masterworked in the world! They are rare and year one! I have not spent any real time working out builds yet, I have certain things in mind. Partially because I used some things like fusion scavenger in a strike, and they reward one shot per brick. Even without modding armor I still always have green and purple ammo, why waste value on the scavenger perk? I always support Bungie’s idea that this should be a meaningful decision! So after a post I just saw someone talking about how rewarding the nightfall is! I’m encouraged to team up and run 980! I’m discouraged that if I get on a good run and get some shards I will have to use them, as I like to be sure for the foreseeable future that piece will have a use! Now, to my point and please help me get this to Bungie’s attention, as I do not feel it is a bad idea! *******Let some kind of activity drop a valuable fully masterworked armor piece******** Make it rare like that 980 nightfall would probably get a drop with pinnacle stats masterworked! Exotics usually drop, with decent stats, and maybe with it being masterworked and dismantle-able to gain the shard! I’m not asking for something because I want shards I know I can play and get them, I still did not even acquire the ones from rank system yet! Like Bungie I want to do it on a build and it to mean something, and I know I could do one for my hunter, and might be doing it at the beginning of week! Remember they still have old materworked armor in game, I’m not asking it to even be grind-able! Maybe to keep it fair make it possible after so many “Bungie’s choice of activities” like 25 runs in the 980 nightfall nets you one piece! To be clear I’m looking at getting possible power drops that mean something, good(pinnacle level stats) like how I put 1600 plus tokens into Lord Saladin this week because I knew the stat rolls were better than anything else yet! Also, I’m not asking for this because I need materials, I’m drowning in all materials and will have to make space in my vault yet again, almost twice a week now I have to delete 100 pieces of gear because I like to sit at 400/500 vault slots, prefer to be at 300/500 but I don’t like spending an hour just deleting things! Anyone that got through this thank you and I am curious if you want a chance to get a masterworked armor piece, like I said not looking to break the game Bungie, and I do not need hand outs, I can at least at no cost upgrade one set on my hunter, just another thing we had that they took away!
