Yeah problem with that is, thats all most solo players and casual players have ( put solos separately because not every solo can be considered a "casual"). This game has from the get go desperately needed a global chat so people can actually communicate and talk to each other properly instead of going outside of the game to find a group or clan. If bungie wants an MMO lite style game then they must adhere to the inherent principals that an MMO brings, one of those is socialisation. Without it, Destiny is just a raid game for the small few. Voice chat is a start but thats all it really has outside of clan chat. The fact that clan chat even exists proves global chat can work because it doesn't matter where you are or what you're doing. and before someone starts waggling their finger "buh buh buh its easy just go outside the game to a website and and....".... Shut it. None of you can seriously be arguing for a system done backwards in 2019 can you? They wanna do an MMO lite system, then do an MMO lite system and actually have socialisation built into the game instead of expecting everyone to do it for them. I refuse to believe that a game built in the last five years is incapable of a global chat when the game is built around constant group devised activities. Its just nonsense that it cannot and more about priorities of the developers. if people want others to focus on more than numbers then convince the devs to give them the tools to do so which often goes through friends, guaranteed 90% of the community will never raid in Destinys current form, it still clings to the idea of no M+K yet play station and even xbox have Keyboards at the very least to talk to other people in in-game chats. They're here for a bit and then disappear me included. It shouldn't be like that especially since both the 10% and the 90% are same we all love the game thats why we're here, the difference is that 10% have friends and the 90% dont or dont have friends who play enough and of course not everyone is socially confident enough to go asking randoms on a website that will likely end up scolding them for doing badly. At least with a proper in-game chat system that can be alleviated through proper conversation and the people being pushed away by elitists can actually join each other and work together without a juvenile nonsense environment of idiots constantly putting them down.

I mean in all honesty Bungie has made that number the current endgame, so really what else would you expect?

Its too bad Destiny doesn't have the depth like Breath of the Wild. That is a game where just cutting down trees is fun.
