You know youll just see meta if this quest wasnt available. I actually like it. Changes up the engagements a little. Not really seeing a ton on NF's or players using the top 5 weapons in crucible right now. Its a nice change a paste.
The quest is a little to easy for my taste, but thats my opinion. Compared to what we had to do on previous seasons, its a cake walk. What took me a week to get 1 character done, I can now finish IB with all my characters in 1 simple week.

I love a change of paste! 😉
-
Im sure everyone does. I myself dont dislike it. Just expecting a little bit more. Thing is by next IB the playlist will be much, much smaller in player population because of this. Players will only get on to complete their daily bounties, then hop off to play something else.
-
True. Its sad that bungie manages to always ruin things somehow.
-
Its do to player feedback. Players wanted an easy IB quest that didnt involve a grind, and so we got it. You even said it yourself that you like the change of paste.
-
It's actually sad that you have to rely on forced bounties to enjoy crucible again. They haven't really touched the meta. Once the wuaesrs are done, meta will be back faster than ever, that's how it is. It's just creating the illusion of diversity

Edited by thatdudeEd54: 10/17/2019 9:36:09 AMForced objectives have been a thing with every fps. Usually very easy to conplete. My word get over it. You cant tell me you havent seen objectives or challenges like this in COD, Titanfall, Battlefield, shit even Halo, Apex, Fortnite, and PUBG have this to gain bonus xp. These are games where you dont spawn in with the weapon you want, you have to go find them, or kill someone using them for you to pick up.
-
All of those are completely different kind of games than destiny. It's a silly comparison
-
Destiny is pretty unique, not many games out there that play like Destiny in terms of movement except for some of the futuristic cods like AW or BO3 and titanfall. However when it comes to the Crucible aspect of the game, its an fps. In that you must be blind if you dont see alot of similarities to the games i mentioned above. Titanfall especially. Its wicked faat there. Like Hoppity Hunters using Stompees and the speed of a Daybreak In fact the only games that compares to destiny's Time to Kill would be Halo (halo ttk is slighlty longer than d2's) or any of the battle royale games if your opponets have full shields/armor.

Personally, I don't care what the meta is, it will get nerfed and they all will go to the next go-too.
-
Not from what ive been seeing. This update was pretty wierd. The nerfs to some weapon archetypes actually buffed them somehow to accumulate this wierd tradeoff. Its pretty satisfying. Handcannons are still king, besides the range nerf. But im loving how much im seeing more autos and scouts out there
-
The auto rifle you get from the season pass is nice
-
How about change the pace by making other weapons good? Not with lazy ass sorry forced meta bullshit
-
What do you think a meta is. What we have right now isnt a meta, it's a forced weapon alteration. The meta is still moutantop/recluse/last word/luna ect...
