PC freezes, tried ALOT of things
Hi!
What happens:
After almost every strike, crucible or story mission the game freezes when I go back to orbit, only then. Never mid game. If I have fullscreen I need to alt-tab, still black screen, press windows button to get start menu to show, and then press restart. Nothing else works.
If I am lucky I can play 3 matches of crucible in a row without restarting the computer.
What I tried:
New graphic drivers, both the game ready driver and studio driver
Setting high priority on destiny2.exe
Turning off everything in graphic settings or setting to low
Play in 1920x1080 window mode
Disable all overlays like steam and windows gamebar
Basic specs:
i5-3570K
GTX 1080
8GB ram
Benq ultrawide monitor
This is getting really really annoying because I cannot play for a longer period of time with a fireteam

2 RepliesThat’s pretty low speed RAM for this game. You should open your resource manager while playing to see if that’s your main bottleneck.

Anyone with knowledge about RAM etc, do you think a DDR3 2x4 GB 1600 is enough or matters at all? I am looking at expanding to either 16GB or buying 2x8 DDR 2400 instead
