If you look at the comment sections, you will see why this franchise will [b]never[/b] progress.
Shit-tier analogies and fanboys defending every single choice bungie made, and being perfectly content with below bare minimum updates/expansions. And if you disagree with them? "Git gud", "Bye felicia".
The community of this game is made up of addicted toxic manchildren unable to grasp basic concepts. As long as there are people like that supporting this game, it's not going to advance anywhere. Why should it? "The majority accept everything we put out every season, whatever it is, why put effort into it? They eat it up every time, lol"
You're much better off investing your money and time elsewhere.
Edit: As you can see, the very people I've mentioned are already gathering below, failing to go beyond "Ad Hominem" just to add to the triggering buzzwords.

Advance to where though? This community has vastly varied opinions as to what direction the game should go. I stepped away for the last 3 seasons. Was hopeful that anthem would be the next best thing and that truly was a dumpster fire. Came back a few weeks ago same ol community screaming about how awful the game is. The game is fun again though with 3 seasons of content to do. Maybe people just need to take a break and gain some perspective.
