After playing for a bit you'll wish activision was back in the picture...

  • Never! Activision and 90% of publishers are useless, greedy, destroyers of games.

  • And yet without activision we get minimal content and a trip to the mall simulator with eververse....

  • Activision wasn't there to make content, it was there just to skim off the top. Plus you're getting the same amount of content now that you got then, plus the cosmetics and all the other trinkets. That's not less. It's more, and the company producing it is getting the full benefit, which in terms will allow them to expand and keep delivering.

Exactly. Activision didn't make content. All the content issues were and continue to be completely Bungie's fault. Our first DLC without activision happens to be one of the worst in the series, and our first seasonal content is almost as bad as the gambit season. You know who made some of the best D2 content? Vicarious visions, the activision studio. 99% of the problems with destiny 2 were caused by Bungie, getting rid of activision fixes nothing and means bungie has less resources to make content.

  • % If anything, Shadowkeep has been great. I dont know where some of you been but storywise, it's amazing. Bungie finally knows what they want the Darkness to be, something they never touched on before solely because they just didnt know what they wanted it to be. Cross Save, while sloppy in its delivery, was something players asked for from the start the moment PC was announced. With Activision, that was basically forbidden. Making Destiny 2 free(expansions included)could be seen as either a good step in the right direction, or a huge mess up. More people are introduced to the game, but at the same time you're basically punching everyone else in the face who paid hundreds on this game just for the base and the dlc content. We basically bought extremely early access packs. While the Moon was reused, by this point theres no reason to complain about reusing and reselling. Many companies do it. It's a trend. Even the new Fortnite update reuses old aspects while adding new ones. If years have gone by and people are still complaining about us fighting reskinned enemies, then go make your own game. Simple. We are aware they are the same enemy type. Changing up powerful sources was a much needed update, even if it seems terrible. If Bungie were to keep the same powerful source locations all the way up to say Year 5, then it would get repetitive, or people would be getting to max level in no time. I got to about max in Penumbra in literally less than a week and a half. That was a problem. Shadowkeep has taken me up from launch day to barely yesterday to get to at least 950(no artifact). Bungie is making big moves, and keep in mind this is only their first expansion without limitations by Activision. Itll only get better. Stick around for when the witch queen arrives. I'm sure you'll eat your words. %

  • I'm 2 powerful drops from having all 3 characters at 961. Story is still lackluster. No vendor refresh outside of eververse, maybe 15 new guns, in a LOOTER SHOOTER. Armor 2.0 is basically a resource sink where maybe you get back to the perks you had in 1.0. DLC wise, 2nd worst behind COC. Sessonal content wise, 2nd worst behind season of the joker.
