Twilight Gap easily the worst Map in the game. still.
Fragments comes out and it’s absolutely one of the best maps and deserves some praise. But then bungie turns around and adds the literal worst god damn map back from D1 and makes me so confused. Please make more new maps and don’t add terrible maps like Twilight Gap.

2 RepliesFragment is on an Equinox level of terrible but for the opposite reason that Equinox is bad. Fragment is a cluttered mess. An absolute highway littering of stone walls of varying shapes and sizes. Twilight Gap however, is as beautiful as it's ever been. Map voting would be an awesome addition to PVP so we could have a better opportunity to avoid the maps we dont like.

Twilight gap is decent enough map, but they've shut off the line of sight for sniping and scouts so it's mainly a hopping -blam!- or sliding titan with recluse, shotgun or erintl map. Fragment is just horrible, for such a big map, all the action seems to be condensed to the area surrounding heavy and B. Widows Court, I kinda like it, it suits my style better using scout rifles, but its full of rushing groups with recluse.

I’m not the biggest fan. The map is pretty lopsided, so it doesn’t work that well with Control. Anomaly. Great map. Still no mention of it despite it being on the moon... one of the many unsolved mysteries of destiny

TG is one of the best maps from D1 and deserves it's slot in D2. What I'm not really happy about is having all IB rotate through the same 3 maps.

1 ReplyDid you play D1? I dIsagree with you. Twilight Gap is a great map. When it was the Trials map there were serious 1v1 battles on the flanks. The issue is you and your map awareness. If you know the sight lines and angles on this map you can basically pick players off with a scout without them even knowing where you are. Scouts are trash btw.

I like it, just don't like it enough to play in 80% of my IB matches, and I don't think it's the best Control map.

Lmao it really is the worst -blam!-in map... too much boxes and shit are in the way, too many dead ends.. if I was in office, I’d ask what maps people would want me to recommend bringing back, the following week I’d make a big poll of the maps people want brought back. Iron banner wouldn’t revolve around the same -blam!-in 3 maps an the same cap the bases game mode.. maybe a 6v6 elimination with 4 rounds?? capture the dog tags (engrams) count down, (with unlimited lives)but instead youd have to detonate both sides to win the round?? Just something -blam!-in fun an special, iron banner has been the same since day one.. switch up

I hate that map... always did... always will. But I used to love Widows Court and somehow they managed to ruin it when the ported it over. It just feels wrong. I would rather play Eternity on loop than either of those

Idk, twilight gap is still a fun map. It combines the best of cluttered corners and cover with long sight lines.
