Unfortunately you're correct, new light is a mess. If it helps I've heard you need to speak to Amanda Holiday to get the campaign going now. She's in the hangar area.

Has Bungie acknowledge that it's a mess, or is there no hope? I've found nothing saying this was bad, and I'm not sure if it's because there's a lack of care on Bungie's side or if people haven't caught up with the issue yet.

They've made no comment on it, which sadly makes me think it's working as intended.
