I have heard a lot about the step that wants SMG kills and shows a grenade launcher symbol. To be clear- this is NOT that, although maybe it is similar. I got to the second quest step, and it asks for pulse rifle final blows, zones captured, and games completed. When the quest updated to the second step, it carried over my 3 games, and 10 zones captured, and 0 pulse rifle kills. On pulse rifle kills I get no progress. Although I got many final blows with Claws of the Wolf in Iron Banner on this step, I remained at 0/25 pulse rifle kills. (FYI, I tested and SMG kills also do not count for this step. I used The Recluse to test this in case this WAS the glitched step and I just got grenade launcher and pulse rifle mixed up as the glitched symbol and it actually wanted SMG kills. These kills also did not count.) It also isn’t counting zones being captured. I checked mid-game and noticed I had made no progress so I went out of my way to capture a zone and checked my progress immediately afterwards, it remained at the starting number if 10/20 captures. When I finished the game I check my progress on that part of the quest, and it also didn’t update, and remained at 3/6 matches complete. I am a busy student, so I don’t have time to screw around with this stuff, but I understand that stuff happens, I just would really like to get my quest done- I am a big PvP player, and get all of these quests done first time around. With that being said, thank you for the help, and if you need any other information let me know. (I am on Steam, and I also tried erasing and reacquainting the quest step, this didn’t solve anything.) EDIT: I discarded and re-grabbed the quest and this seemed to fix the quest. Also, one of my friends had the same issue, however only on the new map. The kills would track on the earth maps, but not the other one.
