I just want to know why there's no appeal link or anything. I've been playing since D1, and to my knowledge, I've never done anything to constitute a ban. I've been playing non-stop since shadowkeep came out, and the only thing I can think of, is when the expansion first came out, I had the frame limiter on RTSS turned on. I only say this because it's listed on the ban page for a reason. But using it once before knowing it's not allowed, and then turning it off as soon as I find out shouldn't be enough to ban me. I've played the game 80 hours since it moved to steam, bought the deluxe edition of shadowkeep, planned on playing for a while, and then this happens. Can someone FROM BUNGIE actually do something to either explain why my account was banned, or maybe help me get it back? While I hate to admit it, I love this game, but not enough to buy it again after this...

Hello, Golden here Bans are usually due to a software being detected by Destiny 2 while it's running. These may include trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. Even if they are not specific for Destiny 2. Bans cannot be overturned. Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned either. All restrictions and bans are carefully looked and monitored by a bungie employee and once they confirm, they take a action. *Note, I am not a bungie employee, just a user trying to help out*

Destiny 2 has a built in frame limiter

1 ReplyWhere have you seen it stated that RTSS is on a ban list for D2? Previously stated by Bungie:
We did not (and will not) issue any bans for the use of overlays or performance tools, including Discord, Xsplit, OBS, RTSS, etc.
https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/46426

If want to keep playing you will have to create a new account and buy the game again. Bans are permanent and not disputable.
