So I am currently struggling to decide on which exotic HC to play with for both PvE and PvP. I have heard great things about both guns but want to start playing with one mainly to get used to it. I have Ace's catalyst unlocked but not Sunshots. Currently don't have Mountaintop or Recluse as I am a returning player to D2.
Any users have opinions on both of these guns?

Sunshot feels way better right now for some reason, along with Thorn. Ace lost its touch after the HC nerf. A good rolled Antiope D can have better range than it from what i heard. So yeah...sunshot all the way

I don’t have AOS because pvp. (I hate pvp). Honestly never really liked sunshot that much though and it was like my second exotic. Eirenas is better imo, and I like Crimson too, as far as exotic HCs go. As far as non exotic I still use my y1 masterworked Bad News sometimes. 🤣 Usually my loadout ends up being an arbitrary primary, depending on the situation, my void bow (subtle calamity I think?) and Worldline Zero or the machine gun from black forge (forgot the name of that too, lol) But then I’m missing a lot of exotics too, as well as many of what are considered “top tier” legendaries, so take that with a pinch of salt. Also I neither pvp nor raid so... 🤷🏻♂️

Sunshot in pvp and pve

Honestly didn’t realize they buffed sunshots ammo count,to the collections!

Ace of spades is useless in pve, so is sunshot. both are good in pvp though.

1 ReplySunshot takes up your Recluse spot xD

Depends on how u like your explosions mate Explosions from headshots = AoS Explosives upon death = SS

I would have said Ace before Shadow keep. But after the nerfs/ recoil buffs and Sunshot magazine buff ( now holds 12 ), Sunshot is amazing in both PvE and PvP. Sunshot by a mile now.

Sun shot has a better fire rate and looks, also better perk with EVERY kill gets the explosion...
