Ammo synthesis
What are the odds you could bring ammo synthesis to D2? I'm sure this has been asked before and I know there are certain armor mods to increase drops, but sometimes you just need a synth. Also, Ice Breaker!

Dude with menu load times you’d be dead before you used it they’re not coming back get your scavenger and reserve rolls unless you’re on pc they’re pointless now

Invective also. Ikora looks dumb holding a blue Vanguard shotgun in the promo pics. Drifter even mentions "her big a-- shotgun" in a dialogue line.

As others have mentioned, scavenger and ammo finder perks exist and raid banners are aplenty so we don't really need synths. Not having then just means there's less ways for bungie to steal our resources. And ice breaker would ruin crucible like it did in d1 and would make revoker obsolete so it isn't coming back.

4 RepliesThey've added ammo scavenger perks and finisher mods that guarantee heavy ammo drops, neither of which were things in Destiny when we had ammo synths.

Considering I have heavy ammo finder on my helm and get lots of it during patrols but go into a strike and heavy ammo is as scarce as rain in the desert. I hate this mechanic bungie implemented.

1 ReplyThey just added all the finisher mods which can regenerate different ammo types in trade for amounts of super energy. Take that as their response to constant requests for ammo synths.

Synths would be good as long as they're not dirt cheap. It was silly how some people had 100+ of them in their inventories.

Ice breaker can stay gone the things that were economy immune were annoying in D1

1 ReplyIce Breaker would break crucible in so many ways. It allows a double special loadout to be very viable where one weapon regens ammo and the other just needs pickups. Also, ammo economy breaking weapons may never return unless reworked.

It’s like they took a huge step backwards by not including synths in D2. I wonder if D2 was actually an older build than D1 because a lot of shit in this game feels half assed. Don’t hold your breath on getting a dev to respond. Unless you’re on their favorite streamer list they don’t GAF what anyone has to say.

I’d definitely like to see those (and invective) come back. It’s a nightmare trying to get missions done that require specific weapon types on specific enemies, and you get no damn ammo drops.
