Well.. here we go! BEFORE the migration from BattleNet to Steam, the game was a dream to play, super smooth, even more after I bougth a 144hz monitor. BUT, after the migration, my fiancee and I are having trouble with stuttering and fps drops. But that's not the end.. it's happening with our THREE computers. The specs are (also discarding the setup blaming)...
1º PC
*Recently formatted
i7 4790k 4.5Ghz
16gb 2400Mhz (2x8GB)
GTX 1070TI
SSD 240GB
HDD 1TB Sata III
WaterCooler
144hZ Monitor G-sync
Windows 10 Ver. 1903 (18362.418)
2º PC
*Bought on August
i9 9900k 5Ghz
32gb 3200Mhz (2x16GB)
GTX 1080
SSD 250GB
HDD 8TB HGST Sata III 6gb/s
WaterCooler
144hZ Monitor
Windows 10 Ver. 1903 (18362.418)
3º PC - Notebook
*Brand new - 1 month of use
DELL G5 15 5590
i7 9750H
RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6
16GB DDR4 2666MHz (2x8GB)
SSD NVMe PCIe M.2 256 GB
HDD 1TB 5400rpm
144hZ ips display
Windows 10 Ver. 1903 (18362.418)
All three pc's are having stuttering in a frequency between 3~8 seconds followed by fps drop varying from 3 to 10 fps.
We already tried ALL the troubleshooting from reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTechSupport/comments/8xahza/destiny_2_troubleshooting_guides_framerate/) on this topic (SO PLZ.. take a look at the topic before recommending a fix..). We also tried many others things windows related, driver related, sound, updates, clean steam install, clean Destiny 2 install, HDD to SSD change, low graphics... I can go all day... since it's been 12 DAYS trying to resolve the problem. Yet, still having no solution to get rid of those stutterings.
All other games are working just fine, smooth as always, with no stuttering, at Max Settings, 1080p and 144hZ. Games like: Monster Hunter World, Dark Souls 3, The Witcher 3, Call of Duty MW2 Remastered, Forza Horizon 4, Far Cry 5, Crash Bandicoot, GTA 5, Resident Evil 2 Remake.. and so on!
THING IS... Destiny 2 on BattleNet was running very smooth and solid, but now on Steam, well.. I'm really trying my best to play, ignoring the issue, pretending it's not there. My fiancee, on the other hand, didn't even touch the game since Shadowkeep release, because of the stutters.
We really hope that Bungie fix this as soon as possible. I've seen too many posts regarding the same problem, and not as many responses from Bungie. And the ones they replied, they were indicating the same fixes from the Reddit Troubleshooting topic. So.. nothing new!
I'll keep updates on things that might work, or Bungie replies!
Thanks for reading!

Same hear since Shadowkeep release I have been having server FPS drops running 70 FPS and dropping to unbearable 3fps consistently. I’ve already rolled back update on card, clean install of steam and d2, setting setting to low medium and high. With same result, this did happen a few time in battle net but eventually went away but no where as server drops to 3 FPS. This really needs to be fixed as the game for me and many others is unplayable.

Edited by Tanner: 10/12/2019 7:13:26 AMThis needs more attention... I'm having similar issues and have tried many things but nothing is fixing it. Seems like a lot of people of having this issue as well since the move to steam.
