Why is support so bad?

So why is it that, with all these personal ticket requests going in for players issues with accounts, such as DLC, and other bugs that may be going on, But literally no support is being given by the staff?

  • Bungie hands player support off to unpaid fanboys who target you in-game if what you're reporting paints Bungie in a bad light and shows their product as anything less than flawless perfection.

Agreed. I haven’t even been able to play since Shadowkeep launched. Game loads into orbit fine. Loads into the main part of the tower ok, but with glitchy screen. Nothing else will load except the first part of the new moon mission. Upon competing the 6 spires and walking down the track, the game will freeze, sounds and music continues though. If I attempt to load any other content, I get a black screen, but the music will play as though I have loaded in. This is hugely infuriating considering I paid £50 for content I cannot access, furthermore it’s disabling my access to the rest of the content I could previously play. What I would like is just to hear something back at the very least, alas, there has been nothing.

    • Most of the staff here are volunteers who pass on information to the devs when they have enough info, posts like "my gun dont work bungo pls fix" take up a large percentage of their time because they still have to read the post, you may notice a pattern that when someone posts a good report and other people jump on it also confirming the issue a forum mod will always report in, I admit it feels unfair or like your being ignored but this is a massive launch for Bungie, going independant, moving game platform, removing exclusives, a big DLC drop and going free to play of course there was going to be hiccups, it wouldn't be Bungie without a little spaghetti in the code at some point. Obviously some cases take president over others but thats life im afraid. Making posts like this does not help the community or the support team as they had to waste time to read it. TLDR> Big shift, Big changes, small -blam!-ups, it will get fixed, glad to not be on battlenet anymore...

    • They are probably busy trying to get those tickets cleared or possibly they are ignoring it and waiting to fix it all on a future update while everyone's game play is buggy and quirky
