18 RepliesI largely disagree. Percentages offer far more value in giving any meaningful feedback on % of completion, especially when using it as a metric to forecast completion. For example, lets say you have a case where you need 450 precision kills. Option A is show it as a %. Option B is showing it as a value out of 450. As soon as I finish a strike, option A will say 5%. Option B will say 22/450. With option A I can very quickly and obviously see that I would need to complete 19 more strikes to complete it. Option B only tells me that I need another 428 kills, which is ultimately meaningless by itself. And the reality is either way, it doesn't make much of a difference since I'm going to keep repeating that task until I see the UI chime that I completed it anyway. The only time I can see an argument for showing a direct "out of 25" is when the overall count is low, and obtainable rapidly. However, to the best of my knowledge these are already represented as number values out of a total.
