Consistent connection dropouts since Steam launch
There is no issue with my internet when playing other games like Lol, Warframe, GW2. I have reset the modem/router, checked for network driver updates, verified game cache through steam, wired vs wireless connection, time of day/different days and still I'm unable to complete any public event because I will drop out before it is completed.
I geuss this small indie game needs a long time to fix its networking.

3 RepliesEvery game you listed uses a server sided connection whereas D2 is p2p which is very heavy on you having a good download and upload and having an open nat

Based of just observation it most frequently happens when I approach public events. In strikes I've only had one occasion of being disconnected but it just respawned me instead of kicking me to orbit and zero disconnects during the red war campaign. Im geussing the system that uses peer to peer in the open world is constantly getting me disconnected there.

-blam!-ing Steam. never had any network issues with D2 until they went with this trash service of steam. As soon as they advised they were going to steam i -blam!-ing shuddered.
