Anyone else having an issue with bounty space? Trying to pick up bounties in the tower and it says I don't have enough space. Went and checked and I have 7 bounty slots available. It did this before when I had 6 slots available. Hopefully Bungie notices this.

Bad Game design pure and simple. Quests should never be capable of being full, key items to complete quests should never be considered a quest and you should never have to pay in game currency for main story or alt quests in any game. very poor job by Bungie here.

I have only 20 bounties and they are telling me i don't have enough space!??? WTF

3 RepliesYou’re understanding it wrong. The quests on the left and bounties on the right all stack up together as you can hold a total of 63. Example: I have 5 exotic quests in my quest log on director that’s it on my left side of my screen that means I can hold 58 bounties with me. Another example: holding 20 bounties with me right now means I can hold 43 quests of like exotic quests or story quests on my left.

1 Reply63 is the total of quests/bounties you can carry. it's annoying, but I learned to just pick up what I'm doing for the very next thing not what I could do. Also, I may be slow on the up take, but realized those extra bounties cost 3k. Was wondering why my glimmer was depreciating so fast.

I agree. I've had to get rid of Quest items on more than one occasion so I could claim more bounties. It's more important than ever to make room since a big part of getting past 950-960 is going to be due to the artifact you level up with XP (... hence all the bounties being taken, over and over...) I hate having to abandon quests just to make room for bounties, especially since I tend to be an "out of sight, out of mind" type. I know that most quests can be picked back up from various NPCs, though there are some that may now be too old to retrieve or bugged. Please, Bungie! What is the harm in UNLIMITING our Quest/Bounty carrying capacity? (Still keeping the 5 random bounties at a time limit, of course.) Having the option to keep all Quest items as well as non-expired Bounties could only encourage us to keep playing, or at least that's how it seems to me.

6 RepliesYup, have the same issue. My capacity will change at random as well. Go from 41, down to 38, down to 24. Strange

I make sure I clear all bounties every day before I pick up any more. I hate a cluttered up half done bounties section. This then stops this problem.

It is annoying, especially as I like to continue doing bounties after completing the weekly vendor amounts to make a start on next week's total, but I believe that is actually the problem. Players carrying multiple unredeemed bounties cause longer loading times and restricting the number of bounties and quests we can carry is a 'fix' of sorts, presumably.

Yeah, for real, it'd be much better if they just removed the cap, don't know why it's there in the first place, but then again I could say that for many items (like so many different consumables)

It's because you have a lot of quests active. Somehow they could split them into different categories on the screen but not actually allow any more actual "slots" even though it physically looks like there's empty space. Very annoying.

Yeah had to start deleting quests. It's really bad on the only account I can play the DLC content on. That account was left abandoned around osiris so it has quests for days that i'll never do.

I have the same issue. Very annoying. Bungie should not only fix this issue of open slots not being useable but should increase bounty capacity overall. Lots of bounties overlap with requirements and players should be able to work towards multiple bounty completions at the same time. There is enough grinding in the game already.
