Bungie is worthless when it comes to crucible

Seriously how can you look at the way crucible has been for the past year+ and still not change shit. Oh yeah, you made heavy drop [i]slightly[/i] less which still wasn't enough. Pulse rifle and hand cannon buffs, no matter how minor, was the most -blam!- idea ever. They were already the only main hands in meta. Autos and scouts are and have been useless since destiny 1 after the suros nerf and still get no patches. The only reason you see scouts [b]ever[/b] is for the stupidly long quest with 14000 required medals. Titan ults are still absolutely ridiculous. Dashing, healing, ult extending panic button or thrown explosive aimbot projectiles.(Not you defender you're straight) Combine it to their already cancer shoulder charge with either Skullfort or One eyed mask and [i]never[/i] another exotic and you have the basic braindead competitive sheep. Guaranteed these kids rocked arc blade and blink with Thorn back in the day and they flock to whatever they see is "good" Speaking of which, Hunters got shafted this time around. Shadowshot never was good and even with the buffs probably only stay sub par. Void blades is Arc blade Jr. But without heals and mobility. Golden gun always was an easy shut down. Blade barrage is actually savage. We don't talk about arcblades' more dumb cousin. Warlocks got some obnoxious passives/active abilities throwing out mini nova bombs and being tanky af while doing it and healing after. Got the upper hand with all the recovery and healing abilities. Nothing stands out as too op for ults execpt Darth Sidious Jr. Slow crappy jump all the same. Yeah you removed pinnacle weapons, but guess what! [i]All[/i] of the old cancerous weapons [spoiler]Recluse, Mountaintop, Revoker, etc[/spoiler] still exist! And can be used! And still are just as cancer as they were before. Heavy spawns a shit ton. Grenade launchers and machine guns guarantee 3-4 kills easy. It's funny too, destiny one was cancer but never as cancer as destiny 2 currently is. Introduce a game to PC virgins and they'll find a way to ruin it. Some matches are alright; then you run into 4 man+ striker one eyed mask recluse mountaintop comboing rushers and you want to commit suicide.

  • Crucible has its flaws but its pretty fun in all honesty, the PvE in this game is cool but no where near good enough for me to play for just PvE. PvP is what gets me on every day.

  • Heavy ammo can definitely use more changes, but is better than where it started in D2. Would like to see two bricks of heavy (one for each team on opposite sides of the map), and only one spawn per game in 6v6. I like the thought of there being a reason for each team to meet and fight rather sit back and gain super in Comp, but I don’t think heavy should be that reason. Weapon variety is easily the highest it’s ever been in the game’s history, and arguably franchise history. Hand Cannons and Pulse Rifles got a range nerf, which was needed since even with more maps like Widow’s Court they would’ve still been the best overall pick over Scout Rifles since Scouts are meant for only long ranges, whereas HCs and PRs could’ve performed in all range types. Certain HCs archetypes also got a much needed rework that makes weapons like Thorn actually usable/viable in PvP, and PRs in the fastest archetype (Horror’s Least, etc) are more forgiving. Are there probably more adjustments that need to be made for weapons? Sure. But every archetype is in a good spot overall. The changes I personally think are needed are more stability added to Auto Rifles and Scout Rifles, since many have decent or good range values, but have a good amount of recoil. Maybe an Erentil range nerf down the line. I don’t see it often, but it’s definitely been more prevalent than in past seasons imo. I think it was fine then since shotguns and other things were way more prevalent, but now that it’s more even, Erentil kinda sticks out more. I’ll post about supers in the replies since this is a long post.

    • Uhhhh....... HC's got NERFED, Pulse rifle changes were more or less neutral (with the exception of Redrix, which was nerfed). AR's reigned supreme during Y1 D2 and only then because Bungie was catering to casuals who need bullet hoses so they can hold the trigger down and spray (since they can't aim). Recluse is very good in PvP but isn't used all that much. Much better in PvE. Mountain Top is relative trash in PvP with few exceptions. Revoker is no better than any other sniper with the exception that it encourages players to take shots they might otherwise not since they can get the round back. Not to mention that COMP has been improved hand over fist, offering many who previously had not chance at pinnacles reasonable access. Sounds like you need to get some air bud!!

    • Crucible is utter garbage still. All they have done is slightly change the playlists. There’s extreme imbalance and ridiculously over-powered weapons across the board. I’m exhausted from Destiny 2’s PvP bc NOTHING HAS CHANGED.
