Where’s All The Bright Dust Luke
So the new eververse armor has started to become available for bright dust.
And it looks like Bungie has increased the cost for them, not surprising since they are pushing silver purchases so hard.
So when Bungie made the next greedy change to eververse, Luke said bright dust would be dropping from more sources. All i’ve seen is the small sum you get from Zavala’s weekly.
I’m definitely not getting as much as i use to, and now with the price rise and all the best looking stuff in the store I gotta say people were right to criticise the change

1 ReplyThe real question should be...is there anything worth buying with brightdust so far? All I've seen is shaders, transmats, ships and nothing new. Kinda anticlimactic when we were told to save it. For what I ask? 99% of everything in the Everscam store requires silver.🤔

2 RepliesWho needs bright dust now when they're still selling absolute shit in the eververse store; they have gone full pay to look good starting from last season (it's like the start of year 1 all over again... which most people hated). Bungie are greedy.

Seriously people, bounties give bright dust. Bounties you can repurchase with glimmer over...and over...and over...and over..

I love the idea of vendor bounties giving bright dust, and I’m glad that bright dust is no longer tied to dismantling and rebuying stuff, I feel more free to decorate as I want to, but they seriously need to up the payout from these bounties. I’d say 25 per every bounty, maybe 50 but they are still a business, but that doesn’t change the fact that currently, this economy is unbalanced.

Each weekly bounty gives 200 dust, there are 6 bounties per character for weekly bounties. Thats 3600 dust a week minimum for minimal effort/time investment. It's estimated that if you farm bounties (10 dust per 24h bounties), you can earn 200-250 bright dust per hour. In comparison, more often then not, after playing all 3 characters last season, you would probably end up with around 1000 dust. If you got lucky and got 3 exotics that week, you would still only be at 2500 dust. From a more practical comparison, after dismantling everything last season I reached 12k bright dust. For the rest of the season of casual play I earned another 3k. So 15k before Shadowkeep. So far this season, I am at 17k bright dust with 0 farming, not touching Gambit, and not touching any bright dust bounties this week yet. All while only playing 1 character. So roughly 2k dust in 1 week, most of it from strikes, with a little from crucible.

I heard datto bounties reward bright dust, saw one that said... "watch a datto stream and donate more than a 100." Rewards 5 bright dust.

2 RepliesNever struggled for bright dust, probably cause there’s not much I want to buy with it. I’m far more concerned with the general lack of new weapons to play for, there just aren’t enough and even fewer that feel they can compete with what I already have.
