Can't buy silver
When I go to buy silver an error message saying "Query failed: unable to contact marketplace servers, new silver purchases will update when you next sign in.
I've tried relaunching the game, signing in and out of steam but nothing is working.

1 ReplyEdited by Acrix: 10/10/2019 6:09:46 AMI had the Steam overlay turned off when I was getting that exact message, after contacting Steam support they said that the Eververse may need to connect via the overlay so I turned that on and I can purchase silver now. Go to Destiny 2 in your game library > right click > properties , you should be able to see the option to enable Steam overlay.

I was having this problem too, going through the in-game store, but if you go through steam directly (go to destiny 2 game page and then click on the silver packs there) the silver is available for purchase, or at least it was fine for me? Hope this helps everyone I haven't looked back on ever verse yet to say whether or not that message no longer pops up however. So this may be our only avenue until we hear back from Steam or Bungie on this matter
