Hey all, I'm having an issue with the game jumping between controller inputs, and keyboard inputs... Basically, I have my look inverted, and the sensitivity set where I like it, and it will randomly go back to default settings, right in the middle of a firefight. I am also having issues navigating menus. Normally, "A" would select whatever I have highlighted, but I have to press a bunch of buttons to get it to select anything. I am using the controller because I figured it would be more like playing on the console, but I find myself having to put it down, and use my keyboard to do anything, including not dying. Is there any way to change the settings to use controller only, instead of having to navigate menus with my keyboard?

Hi. Thanks for reaching out to us. You may want to verify the integrity of your game files in the Steam app to see if that helps with your issue. You might want to remove your CVARS.xml file to see if anything changes.

Nope having 0 issues with my Xbone controller. I turned off all other things on the controller settings and it fixed it for me.

2 RepliesEdited by W3bb: 10/8/2019 9:28:19 PMExactly the same thing is happening for me. But only with Xbox One controllers. I tried one of my PS4 controllers and it works perfectly. Edit: Did some research and the steps below fixed my issue. 1) In Steam, go into Big Picture Mode (top right). 2) Go to the Library. 3) Click on Destiny 2. 4) Click on the Manage Game button in the left-hand column. 5) Click on the Controller Options button. 6) Click the Steam Input Per-Game drop down box and choose "Force Off". 7) Launch Destiny 2.

I'm having controller issues too. Tried the solution mentioned about unchecking the boxes etc but still no luck. Keeps on trying to revert to mouse/keyboard isn't any good for me.

BatRadia Same here. EDIT: someone posted this on the Steam forum - "Steam > settings > controller > general controller settings, then uncheck all of the boxes" Just tried it and it seems to have worked.
This is from another post on the topic. Hope it helps you.
